Yeah i got that bit, but can't seem to figure what actions to perform to solve that riddle

Hammer means crafting, it isn't some new object . May I ask you to send me your save file, I'll check if progression broken or there is a bug of some sort

What is L2D? The new teaching game sucks. I connected the new term in her mind, but I can't get the last check mark. I thought I neeedd to complete the loop back to the start, but no.

EDIT: I went from MC to the new word to catgirl and it didn't finish.

There was a hint before the game, you need to connect words from Lee to Cat, so Cat is the endpoint.
L2D is Live2D, 2D animation technology

Yes, the game autosaves before going to the credits screen so you always may continue from the point where you left it when new chapter will be added. Autosaves are available on the tab with the clock.
