Ren'Py - Completed - Tame It! [v1.1.2] [Manka Games]

Honestly not worth the time or grind. I played through on easy, and while this game touts it's big area is being a survival game, it's really just a simple VN with an annoying grind to collect objects on a static screen for little to no payout. If you want it to be a fun game make...ACTUAL GAME PLAY, like you want to make it's focus the survival thing fine, use a format that is conducive to that and fun. A Visual Novel with no dialog and long amounts of what's basically just clicking the bamboo Icon's for long periods of time to trigger a scene that only say's cool GO GRIND MORE NOW AND ALSO YOUR REWARD IS A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT BACKGROUND WITH MAAAAAAAYBE A SCENE TO GO ALONG WITH IT! Yeah this isn't a good survival game, it's not a good porn game, it's barley a game at all. I don't know how you could fail at literally every corner like this. And before the dev come's with the excuse of it's a WIP, Maybe you should have actually figured out a way to make the game fun if you weren't going to focus on content. As it stands right now this is little more than patreon bate. There are plenty of H games that are fun to play, have lots of content, have catgirls and hot blonds in them, or dare I say all 3, you can totally skip this one. I went in expecting a basic survival rpg game with maybe a sexy scene or 2, all I got out of it was 2 hours wasted on a misleading pitch.

Review:
I don't know, looking at the positive reviews it seemed to me that the game was in great development. The art style draws your attention, because the female model is very well designed, well, is what it seems and there are no texts, just emojis. The grindfest made me play for about one hour, causing me to waste my time for waiting for something that would never happen, which is at least to have an additional scene after the plane scene.

History:
I thought it was completely bad, why not create a parody of Lost? But let's talk about the story, there are no texts or a plot that you can read, but you can understand it just by reading the images. You are on the plane with a beautiful pilot woman, you don't know who you are, where you're going and why you're alone, but only the beautiful woman is flying the plane. But look what a surprise, this girl has a slut instinct, she drops a bottle of water for you to deliver into her hands, and she asks if you don’t want to ride with her, and soon she’s already sitting on your lap and putting your cock out because she’s horny. After having fun, there is an engine failure, the plane is then falling and she tells you to take the parachute and jump out the door, but why doesn't she come along? Of course, she tries to maneuver the plane so that the vehicle is not damaged or destroyed after the crash. And then the game begins, you are alone and lonely, looking for ways to survive.
Gameplay:
It's a sandbox grindfest. Here, in this version, you will grind, grind, grind, in the end to say, to be continued. In this game, which is a grindfest, you need to collect resources to survive, collect items to craft and chasing a FELINE GIRL! In fact it is she who is watching you, but anyway, I do not like a lot of monster girl content, but ok. You keep grinding with this character in the end to see a To Be Continued. FUCK !!!
Graphics & Sexual Content:
The arts are good, the design style and settings are good. The animations are even good, but about sexual content, there's not much, just at the beginning of the game. So there are no sex scenes when playing the game, only when you are on the plane, but it is a quick thing. If you're looking for fun, don't waste your time.

Why I did gave 1 star?
Let's start with the story. There are no texts or dialogues, It doesn't matter much, but the script it is very boring. This is because we realized that right at the beginning of the game it brings a sense of disinterest, I say that because it would be better if there were more characters on the plane, and of course, I missed it. Another bad thing is the gameplay that you may find interesting in the beginning but it ends up being very annoying, because I am playing a porn game and not a survival game. But the worst is about to happen, it's the fucking grind, you will spend hours to receive a thank you for playing. Fuck, I had to keep grinding with that fucking feline girl something that I don’t like very much and I reach the end of the grinding and that’s what I get? Anyway, I can’t see potential in this game, to tell you the truth, only if the story is rewritten. Especially because no one will look for a porn game to spend most of their time playing survival game. It's okay to have survival mechanics, as long as you have a considerable and satisfactory number of pornographic content. Therefore, I do not recommend this game.

Another grind fest with decent art.
It could have been good with a hot girl from the start but the story telling (zero text, all emotes) gets old and pointless fast.
As for the fun there is none in a game set with repetitive tasks almost exclusively.
If you're a fan of survival you may find this interesting?... but I doubt it.

i play this game and end it at around 2 hours
and this is my pros and cons for this game

pros:
- art of characters is nice
- art of back gorunds is good
- crafting system is good
- musics is good
- menu of game is so nice
- art of sex senses is nice

cons:
- some back grounds have problem in loading and have lating at this
- musics can be better
- crafting system have some bugs
- sex senses can be more than this
-story is so simple

To start the game, the MC is on a plane traveling somewhere (no reason given), has sex with pilot, the plane has some sort of problem. The MC parachutes out of the plane, saves himself, and leaves the pilot to crash with the plane (a real hero).

The game then turns into a complete point and click grind. You move around to collect items, clicking on an item to collect it. Then, all of the other items that were visible in that scene disappear; rocks, leaves, bamboo, bananas, coconuts, apparently go into hiding at certain times of the day. This feature makes the game even more of a grind.

You build a few things, dream of the pilot, and see a cat woman. That’s it for an hour and a half of play.

Pros:

• The emoji concept is unique.
• There is a sex scene to start the game.

Cons (everything else):

• There is no story, no plot, no character development.
• Graphics are mediocre at best.
• The sex scenes are dull.

I don’t like giving bad reviews because I appreciate the work that all of the developers put into these games but I feel I have to for this one because of all the 5 start reviews that I assume were mostly written by friends of the developer.

Actually a fun game. Has a nice build up so far and I can appreciate catgirls lol. Still in early development but I'm seeing a lot of potential and if you like a game with a nice slow pace then I would recommend it. Gonna support the dev of this game.

Bad Points
-Awfuly short content for 4 months of development time. And worst part is DEV doesnt even need to write dialuges or story! So without text write burden DEV should have add at least 2-3x more content but instead its even shorter than text story games.
-Animations are not good enough. They are not soft or well maked. We need smooth and 30-60FPS animations with good physics. Espacily without text content we need someting can be powerfull and keep our interest alive and good animations could be that key.
-Yes emoji idea seems fresh and interesting. But its not immersive. I do like if DEV change game and write text based story and dialuges. Because at this rate we dont have any story at all.
-Well writed (Emojed?) and interesting story could be good because right now things looks to much cliche and boring.

For The End
Basicly this game have potencial to be good game but its lacking lots of thing. Maybe in time game will be better than this but that 3-4 month development time and right now game content dont give me hope about new updates... How could this game can be that much short without text story and dialuge burden? Anyway... I hope DEV's will make better job than this or this game will lost all potencial with time.

Best thought provoking AVN game out! Is great how the developer has gotten rid of words and replaced with emoti. The story is still in developing stage but keeps the fun going. If follow or join on Patreon or Discord, there is plenty of interaction with the team, so you understand where the game is at.

Art style is nice, and the mechanics are different in a fun way. Looking forward to future updates!

This is a great start. The artwork is beautiful and gameplay has a different style form others. Emojis instead of text is a really unique narrative. Sandbox part of the game feels comfortable. I'm looking forward to new updates in future.

The emoji system was an interesting concept but flawed in practice, basic quality of life features of the engine aren't enabled, the game play is meh at best, the saving grace is the art which is nice but is limited in it's amount and sexual content. Trying something unconventional is noble but so is knowing when it is producing an inferior experience. If I'd rather see an art rip than play it that's a 2 IMO and that's the case here.
[Update... it's doubling down on it's weakest qualities, then the adult art content, it's strength, doesn't seem to get as much attention as questionable game play which is leading into. I'll wait for an art rip one day if it ever gets enough adult art to make it worth while.]

There is obviously not too much yet. However the art is very good, even the menus etc. look great. I actually like the emoji dialogue, it actually works pretty well and gives the game a unique feel. A nice alternative to the walls of text in some other games. All in all it feels like the creator actually cares about the project. This game has potential!

Normally I wouldn't bother rating with not much content yet, but like the previous reviewer I don't want this to get lost because of one bad rating.

Graphics are good. I don't usually like 3D graphics in these, but this works by not trying for photorealism. Gameplay's pretty intuitive, though the end minigame was a little tough to figure out for me and some others. Once I knew what I was doing it was easy enough, and a fun idea.

I didn't expect to like the emoji thing, but it's working so far. Time will tell whether it gets tiresome or just too limited to do what the game needs to do. So far, it beats the mediocre writing a lot of these kinds of games have since it's a lot faster to skim and sidesteps the usual cliches.

The game is excellent in teasing and overall very sexy. Renders are great. Why do reviews need to be so long ? I hope the game will go on, I disagree with previous rating and don't want to see this sink

The decision to use emoji instead of actual language severely hampers the playability of this game. The one section so far that could actually be considered a game took me several minutes to figure out how to control, was more of an annoyance than anything, and the payoff was far from worth it. The art is good, and the concept has potential, but if they insist on sticking to emoji the game will fail in accessability.
