As some one who helps test the game I can tell you that... No. He does not... Just Busy,
i think it like a life problem thing don't expect to get it too continue that much because you might regret it
for anyone wondering, this game has been abandoned for over a year. The patreon hasn't even gotten a post since Jan 14th 2023, don't keep your hopes up for an update of any kind.
It looks like the dev had a contract with another company that prevented them for working on their game.
However this info was posted almost a 8.5 months ago on itch.io so I guess we'll see.

Dang man, this game got foundation to successs but they have to died unfinished? GOsh dang Why it like few game that dead before it rising
Yeah, but that was a while ago now since the contract ran out (basically something down the line of anything he makes during that time belongs to said company) however he has been quiet since announcing it ran out and hasn't really answered any question on the itch page. Best case, he is just busy with the game.

Thing is he's been pinged multiple times since his last message on the server and hasn't responded since. You can see him pop up active on the side from time to time as well.
