Because the tag is "Netorare" and this isn't that. This is Netori, which is when the MC isn't a cuck, but is the one doing the cucking.
To be honest, the dev should probably rename the game. NTR is generally assumed to be the cuck shit and most people who don't like that will skip based on the title alone. Calling it NTR is accurate but most people will just assume it's the type they don't like.
The story follows a Netori line, I decided to use NTR in the title to appeal to fans of the subgenre in general, as people tend to associate it with similar themes. I understand it might cause some confusion, but I hope this clears up the focus of the game.

That's stupid because on this site, NTR stands only for Netorare.
I was about to put the game on ignore because it has 'NTR' in the name, until I noticed there is no 'NTR' tag.
Meaning the name alone can reduce your playerbase.
Not really tbh, the NTR playerbase is generally big enough to sustain a game, and most vanilla players will still check either way in case of an avoidable NTR route, so it's not really an issue, I think the best choice the dev could make is just write Netori instead of NTR to clarify.
Maybe, I still think it's a bad idea to have NTR in the name of the game and the Dev while making a non-NTR game.
It is an NTR game tho, Netorare, Netorase and Netori all respectively fall into the NTR category.

im confused on why the discussion always devolves into a NTR debate. Dev just slap whatever flavor of NTR it is in the Description and if you are really feeling frisky put (Subject to change) beside it and go on with life. if you read its not your flavor no need to QQ the site has more than enough content to get us all where we want to go. Just keep SWIMMING!
While this is technically correct, the first 2 are pretty vilified and the third is liked/tolerated by most consumers. Netori is technically NTR, sure. Nobody is saying that's wrong, or that the dev can't call it NTR. People are just kindly advising that it's probably bad for advertising or getting the game out there because a lot of people will scroll past those three letters (or enter the thread and pester with questions about it). This isn't people crying about NTR or debating whether it is or not. It's just people pointing out something potentially helpful.
