Hah, solo dev, excellent story, two to three months for substantial content. LOL. There are VNs with almost no story, at least an artist and writer/coder working together that don't produce updates more than once every 6 months. Pull off your timeline and you will be doing better than 60-80% of devs here. Good luck! Really enjoying the story so far.
Thanks. Like I said I'm not guaranteeing a timeline. But I'll be as transparent as I can.

First draft of Chapter 1 blocking and dialogue. I tend to work in a movie script format instead of a regular novel style for the development. It helps me picture what I want to show and how the scenes play out in dialogue. It also helps me figure out what assets I need in case I don't already have them.

i dont know where u learn this but is actually what my wife [she is doing documentary's .studie production and filmography ]
is doing all day ,working like a maniac with those same scipt model's,.she says that she can actially invision all the scenery and the frame by frame shots....sometimes she ask me what i think and i just gasp and says "is the scene a normal one or have some nudity...i know im too biased[and screwed ] by this forum,...but my inmagination only go that far,but also give me perspective how the creator mind works and i can say i totally give me some faith that if u have the same constructives qualities this could be good looking and well scripted adventure.....good luck and we will chek for future updates..

This is quite an intriguing development you've got going on here with Tempest.

I must admit that I have thoroughly enjoyed the plot of the game thus far and the lore behind it. I will be leaving a more detailed review later on once I've had a chance to complete the prologue in its entirety.

Opposing forces of hell and heaven, such distinct personalities, yet...they feel quite similar in more ways than one.

As the age-old adage goes, "Two Sides of the Same Coin". Or "Birds of a Feather Flock Together"

One of the many intriguing aspects of the game...I'm curious to know more about how we, as the player, can shape the fates of the three born from the paradoxical union of Athena and Belial

A compelling narrative and rich lore can help players feel a sense of investment in the game from an immersive standpoint. And so, I can confidently say that I do like what I see thus far, and looking forward to future updates indeed.

Learned by trial and error :) I just found that if I didn't do the scene blocking up front, and then the dialogue, I just tended to thrash and thrash when I started coding and rendering. By putting in the effort up front, the coding and rendering just seems to go a lot more smoothly with minimal re writes and changes to how the scene plays out. Thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks for the feedback. To a solo dev it's hard to express what this kind of feedback means. Thanks again.

Thanks again
Don't mention it.

Thanks for sharing your creative work with the rest of the community on F95.

Don't worry too much about the comments made around DAZ rendering. We all have to start from somewhere after all.

The most important thing is to continuously refine your craft and incorporate constructive feedback from the community into your dev project.

I'm looking forward to seeing how things progress

I think most of the feedback on the Daz rendering is about the sex scenes. They are basic to some extent by design. Plus that is the area I have the most to learn. I just couldn't see first sex encounters being a flurry of different positions, it just doesn't fit the mood of the story at those points. But I also recognize I have a lot of improvement I can make as I learn more.

It's understandable because you want the sex scenes to fit the overall pacing of the plot.

So, to incorporate the intimate scenes, doing so sparingly without it coming off as too forced, is central to the overall pacing of the narrative in some respects.

Over time, I'm sure you'll develop a better sense of how to craft the scenes and ensure they align with the overall direction of the plot.

It's a bit of a learning curve, that's for sure, to say the least.

Just a quick update on some development.
The first reader choice in Chapter 1 is in. Yes I know it is the usual look at the girls tits one, but every choice made in Tempest will have a consequence, some small, some major. They will define the MC's interactions with other characters in the novel.

The second thing is I got rid of the black dialogue boxes around the displayed text as was suggested earlier. I think this provides a cleaner view of the renders and doesn't make the choices quite as visually distracting.

Ok back to rendering and writing :)

Nice update

Yeah, I agree with the change around the black dialogue boxes. This will make things cleaner and visually less distracting/obstructive.

I love choice-based gameplay in AVNs, especially when you think of replayability value and the player immersing themselves in the storyline based on the choices presented. It does make for a more compelling gameplay experience in shaping how you want the character to be perceived by others in their conversational dialogues with one another.
