I've said it multiple times this thread, but I'll say it as many time as I need to. Dr. Grove is meant to be a villain. There is a scene at the end of content in v0.12beta (the version you probably played) that should make that abundantly clear. Most people didn't get that far because the overtuned minigames gatekept them, that's my bad. I'm working on expanding the intro so that it paints her and her actions in a more critical light.
Being "critical" is not strong enough, I get the "dock" is a bitch but from the start the dude dosen´t really fight back worth a dam as anyone would do. I still maintain that a rework is in order, you´ll get all kinds of crap from people for the "white gene" angle, it is a bad look for you and the game. It can still be about genetics, make him fight a genetic disease by spreading "healthy" genes and be a hero, just keep the racist out of it. As for the mini games, add the 4 options of 1.hard 2. medium 3.easy and 4. off, in the settings for now. You can work out the mechanics and the problems later.
