And yet Kayla is the younger sister and the MC are starting college for the first time. So even if she is only 9 months younger and in the same grade, how is she on the student council before the school year starts? Did she skip a year ahead? Did the MC take time off between high school and university? Maybe this is explained later in the story line. I'm only 20-30 minutes in so far.

I stand corrected. I thought during the intro MC says "This is my younger sister". Replayed through it and he says "This is my other sister". Sorry for the confusion.

It works for me. I think the problem is that there are two instances of "Mom" and "mom". The modder might not have had the capital version. Here's what it looks like in my version, with it being changed properly View attachment 4992375

Yep that fixed it. Added a second line defining uncapitalised separately. Thanks!

What's wrong with Characters's Thoughts ("mct" and other)? Sometimes it has (), sometimes not. Same with what_italic=True modifier. It's bug or just another lazy script quality control from Dev?
And here are a LOT of mistakes in text - commas, spaces, capital letters (in relations especially(3 simple rule in English btw)), etc... Why use "!u" in MC name
Really, it's understandable with problems like Julia hair positioning. But when so many easy fixable text mistakes, it's unacceptable...

Okay.

Note: Since you updated the VN's engine from Rv8.0.2 to Rv8.1.3 that folks loading old saves will likely have rollback exception errors. This is due to you not carrying over (migrating) the original RPYC save location pointers and had RenPy 8.1.3 create new RPYC pointers. They don't (and never will) match old (v1.6 or prior) save load locations. They will only attempt to rollback to the closest previous label which usually crashes unless a previous label is very close to the old save pointer.

Just an FYI. You should never change the engine version during the progression of a VN unless you explicitly intend folks to restart their playthroughs due to other circumstances OR migrate old internal RPYC data properly while changing engine versions. The latter being the best imho. Just remember that RPYC files contain much more data than simply encrypted RPY dialogue script.

Not really. I wanted to add some SFX, but I'll probably add them later if people want. When I play a VN, I usually mute everything, to be honest.
