That's usually because no one cares. If you want though, you can try to go to the Game Request subforum, read the directions, and make a request post for whatever the latest version is.

As I explained to the other user. Go post a "+1" in thread to bump it and maybe that will increase the chances someone posts a paid update. If no one posts a game request, then updates will never have a chance of happening in thread.

Ah yes. After Lovecraft Tentacle Locker and Tentacle Lab we now apparently got Lovecraft Tentacle Van. 20 Bucks it will be the same boring ass concept than the other games. These games come out disme a dozen. Nothing special and most of the content will probably be once again hidden behind a paywall.'
Strange Girl Studios did it first with their lovecraft games, all with the same gameplay loop, same characters and now apparently this dev decided, to also step into the "Sooner or Later half the game will be hidden behind a paywall type" of game. At current this is not more than a lukewarm Demo and even for a Demo its shallow.

This game's gameplay is significantly different from tentacle lockers clones. Because you're a chasing predator, not ambush predator.
The lewd content is similar, though.
Also, I think Tentacle Locker, by HotPink, was there first.

Hmmm... I think +1 is allowed in the Game Requests forum? If it isn't... then it's a rule that's specifically being ignored by the staff; almost every Game Request thread has +1s.
It could be because Game Request threads aren't content threads. Whereas if you post a +1 in a content thread like a main game thread, it's distracting. This seems to comform with the other rules which are centered around maintaining discussion of a primary topic, where as Game Request threads have very little in the way of discussion.

So its tentacle locker but...
- You're in a van this time
- All the graphics look pretty much the same
- The 18+ scenes still look extremely basic
That last one in particular heavily discourages me from buying it. I don't even want to play the demo for it.

It's a roguelike, so game over if you die once, and the police get stronger everyone couple of nights. Got to Night 20 and died faster than I realized, even at like 250 van health.
The game is actually fun, but hasn't had an update in 5 months. Not sure if the dev is done with it, or if they're just a slow dev.

I think it's because you look like a van with tentacles sticking out of it, and they can't convince the government people to nuke you from orbit.
afaik I looked and it looks like they're working on a different game right now. I don't think they ever mentioned if they're coming back to this one or not; they just seem to focus on what they feel like or what's selling.
Current tentacle van is pretty bare bones and basic, honestly, but it's also neat conceptually. If there was a bit more in the way of mechanics it might be a better game.
