So, hypothetically, if this does go into .10 beta update, what do we think over all game dev progress would be at that point? I've heard mixed ideas in this regard.

what are you smoking? 3 years ago the v.09 was released. it has been 3 years to only get to alpha 3 of the next release. 3 years and he couldn't get from .09 to .10, or even to a beta release.

Maybe Jimjim has financial problems and a lot of work at home. After all, there must be a reason for stopping, but Game is not abadonden right? so like 2-60 years an we be happy playing it for free.
