Thank you for the constructive feedback, it's always nice to read correct criticism of the game. I'll see what I can do, I'm unlikely to be able to implement everything you described in one update, but I'll improve some mechanics. My advice. Make a schedule system similar to princess maker to prevent the tedious having to go from room to room, even in the sims it sucks so you want to reduce that tedium or find a way to make it at least an enjoyable thing and not a grind.
The debt was too easy to repay. Take a look at the game The Good Son on here, they handle the same kind of story really well.
UI for Unity, change to it being panel based and not in world, it'll massively improve the clickability of the buttons.
Instead of a pay to unlock system - because they annoying and lame, instead change to a XP system that builds up over time. Point buy mechanics are annoying because you can amass a lot of money through min-maxing basically unlocking everything which ruins the flow of the story and sense of progression, I completed the entire non-patreon game within 1 ingame week by stockpiling money. These clicker games always suffer from the same progression issues.
Put less an emphasis on clicking and more an emphasis on dialogue choices that way it'll feel less grindy and feel like the player is doing something, because click multiplers pay out so well I had no reason to engage with dialogue.
The art is good, but the game progression doesn't make me want to play it, and you need to incentivize repeat plays because its a major weakness of clicker games, there has to be something there to encourage multiple playthroughs.
Its a good start though.
MK1 pills are available in the free version—they alter the main character’s body. MK2 pills are indeed temporarily available only to Patreons; in the next version, many upgrade branches will become free, and new ones will be released exclusively for Patreons every month. Changes for other characters are available in the cheat menu for $1, and in the future, there will be interesting, story-driven branches for modifying other characters.I decided to play because of the transformation tag, in the end it's all for patreon. The game looks like a cheap and fast unity game for pumping money out of subscribers.
In the next update, many of them will be available, I understand that many would like everything at once and for free, but I would like to hire a couple of people for the team and have motivation to make the game further, so this is a forced step.Decided to give the game a try, was semi-interesting, but I lost all interest when I opened the upgrades tree and realized how much was locked behind Patreon. Hard pass for me.
Yes indeed, all the comments are correct.I'm gonna go against the grain here, and say that I actually like the 3d environment navigation and life-sim aspects. It gives the game world some substance, and it sets this game apart from other similar titles.
The spam clicking on the other hand, I'd just get rid of that completely. It's not immersive, it doesn't scratch the clicker game itch, I don't really see the point of it. Ideally it'd be replaced with an actual streaming minigame (posing, stripping, responding to requests etc.) but that's obviously a lot of work.
Having a debt to repay is a great story device, but it's almost impossible to balance in terms of gameplay. To get around this, I suggest modifying the plot so that the aunt is in charge of the streaming income. She gives the MC an allowance every time he streams, and uses the rest to "repay the debt". The actual debt is not shown and not even tracked internally, it can be whatever the story needs it to be. This also gives another tool that the aunt and sister can use to coerce the MC: "I'm sorry but you're not making enough money, I didn't want things to go this far but you will have to try a crossdressing stream".
But overall I think this is a very promising start, thank you for making it, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this game!
Actually, one last thing. All the "Patreon only" signs everywhere give off a kind of "mobile game cashgrab" vibe, I would seriously consider toning that down a bit. And paid cheats is a bit of a pet peeve of mine in general: I'm supposed to pay money to NOT play the game? How does that make sense?
That's fair. But picture this: You release 0.5 paid with a big announcement talking about how great it is, and all the big improvements you've implemented. Why would I want to try 0.4 at that point? I could just wait a month and play the 0.5 release. But a month later it's the same situation, why would I want to play 0.5, when 0.6 is done and has a bunch of new cool features? With Patreon, everything is very complicated, perhaps it would be worth doing, for example:
0.3 free version
0.4 paid
In a month
0.4 free
0.5 paid What do you think?
Unreasonable criticism? Good. Your game looks very cheap, the textures are bad, the animations look jerky, you can walk through some things (like stairs or other furniture), the character is hanging in the air during walking animations, and the interface looks cumbersome. A bunch of unnecessary buttons that are superimposed on the character, for example, near the shower stall. When disguised, the character is literally pixelated. Instead of a skybox, a regular texture was used for the window, which affects the immersion in the game. That's not all I noticed about this game. That's why I said that the game looks cheap, and when they point everywhere that it's just for patreon, it makes the situation worse.MK1 pills are available in the free version—they alter the main character’s body. Unfounded criticismIt’s extremely disheartening to hear claims about a fast and cheap game—I’ve put in an enormous amount of effort.
Just a quick question... is this more about the streamer choosing to change themselves to overcome their debt/because they want to change or is there a path/elements of being coerced/forced/hypnotized into taking on the changes, sometimes those changes occurring unknowingly?Thread Updated: 2025-04-03
