Not exactly. The game over comes from repeatedly objecting to Anne's activities and letting the relationship take too much damage. Choosing to let Anne fuck Martin, choosing to ignore that it's going on, or choosing to force her to confess later on; no matter what you do, as long as your relationship points are high enough, the game continues.
It's not entirely correct. The game over is based on two variables: "Martincheat" and "Annefaith" (Chapter 7); Relationship points no longer matter. Based on those two variables you later can break up with Anne in Chapter 11 Part 2.

Well, the husband's gotten exactly what he wants. If he doesn't like it anymore, he knows who to blame.
I mostly agree with that sentiment and perhaps this is the whole perspective that the Dev is trying to show - that sometimes in an effort to spice up your marriage you inadvertently open Pandora's box and once it is open you may not be able to close it and have to deal with the consequences.
But I also don't totally fault the MC. Let's say you introduce drinking wine as a hobby to your spouse. You start out going to wine tastings together or drinking a fine bottle of wine together at home. Over time occasionally you come home and your wife has had a few glasses of wine by herself and even goes out and has wine with others. At this point it is still a healthy hobby. But then over time it progresses to where your wife is shit faced every time you come home. Is it your fault that your wife turned into a raging alcoholic?
Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to be daft and try to compare wine drinking to encouraging your wife to fuck other guys as on the same level for 'hobbies'.
The Adventurous Couple idea was always going to be a high risk 'hobby' for the MC and he clearly didn't weigh the consequences before presenting this to Anne. So again - perhaps this is the whole point that the Dev is trying to make. It that is the case I just wish we would have more options on the outcome. I feel like we only have 2 options at this point - go along and accept Anne being an out of control sex addict (this is the route with high love/relationship points) or have Anne be a cheating out of control sex addict (this is the route with low love/relationship points).
Either way the MC has mostly just become a third wheel at this point, so why go one as an Adventurous Couple.

It's not the only way to lose, though. Or is it? I encouraged the two of them and was still able to engineer (out of curiosity) a breakup. Screwing Nicole with awful stats also ended the relationship. Maybe things have changed.

But I also don't totally fault the MC.
Totally, no, but I do mostly fault him. He pushed, and pushed, and pushed, and pushed. Every time they're out together he's agitating for her to bang some dude. If it turns out that she really likes it, to the point where she's not into it for his reasons, then I think that's mostly on him.

The Adventurous Couple idea was always going to be a high risk 'hobby' for the MC and he clearly didn't weigh the consequences before presenting this to Anne.
Going back to the point at which this game was called "The Cuckold," I think this was always fated. Pandora's Box? Absolutely.

The mechanisms have been set up for this to end very badly. By this point, the husband might have gotten someone pregnant. Anne won't accept any marital restraint on her behavior. Certainly, these are marriage-ending conditions. Thus far, the only way to remain in a "happy" marriage is to let/encourage Anne to do everything and everyone. As can the husband, which rarely has any effect on the relationship, despite Anne's occasional complaints.

Ultimately, though, I go back to the purpose of the game. The dev wanted Anne to have sex with other men. And so, the husband did as well. Fighting that remit almost always ends poorly. Ultimately, I guess we'll find out if the dev thinks this has a future or not. Logically, it doesn't. In the game itself...who really knows, other than Mircom3D?

Segnbora says a lot of wise and true things, but this...this is GOLD!
Trying to control Anne once the slutty genie's out of the bottle isn't the reason this game exists. It exists for Anne to take Transatlantic Cable lengths of dick.
[...]
A more narratively sophisticated story would examine this a bit... But, of course, this isn't that sort of story either.

Indeed! "The Adventurous Couple" has lost its entire premise.

Believe it or not, being a guy who appreciates the story over the porn, I would applaud a decision by the author to include an ending that serves to ponder the dangers of opening Pandora's Box. This type of path/ending truly adds depth to a story that has all but lost its charm, narrative, or purpose.

Two major flaws have been created by the author. First, he broke the golden rule that you must have a protagonist(s) that the reader can relate to and empathize with. As readers, we have to want to hear their story and, for the most part, support them on their journey. What we face in this story is an MC we feel is too apathetic and has lost our support. And Anne, who we can no longer tolerate.

The second flaw is taking away the reader's agency. That is, we no longer feel we have choice or control of the story. We are forced to take a passive seat where we can only "wait and see" what the author does next — IF the reader still wants to hear any more of the story. Any choices that do exist have lost their meaning and impact. Do we want to watch another scene of Anne having sex with another stranger or four? Or do we skip it? Meh.

Obviously, there are a plethora of people "here for the porn." I have no doubt many of the author's supporters do not care what the text says, as long as Anne keeps having sex the way they want her to. And if that is what Mircom3D wants in his story, then job well done. Hell, I think there is one day where Anne has sex with 7 different people. Not a lot of stories on this site can "boast" that stat.

Like many of the viewers, I joined the story in Chapter 14. After my first playthrough, I was already fed up with the story. Which bums me out...I enjoy many aspects of the story but can't stand the protagonists anymore. My only hope, and I know the author does read these forums, is that he understands the complaints and the reason for loss of support -- and does something positive in response. The story is worth keeping and enjoying, but if I wanted to just watch meaningless people have sex, I would turn to free porn videos. ;)

Is there any netorare/netorase in this latest version or is it all sharing/cuckold?

There was a little bit netorare back when MC's father and friend made a move, but recently it has all been a mutual effort by them to have her fucked by others.

I've been "here for the porn" for ages because the game's not going to give me anything deeper. It toyed with it, and there were opportunities, but they've all been left behind. I'm not saying they couldn't return, but the main chances — Anne's obvious emotional connections to Martin, Ryan, and Dre — were swept aside in favor of fucking overweight plumbers and car salesmen and cowboys and randoms while on vacation.

I understand that "Anne fucks every living human being" can be appealing on some level. But I feel like the choice we've already been given — let Anne have her fun or lose her — is probably how this is going to end. Maybe there'll be a "husband got someone pregnant" or whatever ending, but I just don't see how this doesn't end on its core principle: the husband wanted Anne to take all the dick, and she does, and he's either fine with it or looking for a new wife.

can we have a reverse ntr game where we convince the wife to share you with other woman.
Not sure if you aware of it or not but things like "reverse NTR" or "reverse rape" don't exist, because it would mean that no ntr, no rape etc. happened.

You basically ask for games that feature "sharing" and "swinging" or "cuckquean" and "netorase" from a female point of view. Honestly, I'm not sure if there is a game that feature a female protagonist who's boyfriend/husband gets stolen away from her (netorare aka NTR).

These vacations are so dumb. Instead of following the progression with Ryan and her boss at the start of the game, Anne goes on vacation and skips right to succubus mode. I still don't get what the purpose of these vacations is, other than working on the callous on Anne's vaginal walls. It's not like the game is otherwise starved for sex scenes.
If anything a little more buildup and adventure would be more fun. Especially since pretty much all animations are just copy/paste'd and nothing we haven't seen before.

Since I view this as an omniscient protagonist game (the player sometimes controls both Anne and her husband), Anne is a protagonist and it's at least possible that someone — Emma, Nicole, one of his coworkers — could steal the husband away, either just through cuckoldry or entirely. I don't think it'll happen, but it could. Given a playthrough in which both are unfaithful and their relationship is extremely rocky, it'd make plenty of narrative sense. (Which is why it won't happen.)

For example: Emma taking back her old boyfriend because Martin's spending all his time screwing Anne, she's jealous, and she wants to teach her a lesson. (After which Emma would just cheat on him again, but still.)

If it was an option for MC to be stolen from Anne, I for 1 would not choose Emma simply because she has cheated on him in the past, Once a cheater always a cheater. I would probably go for Nicole as she is Anne's best friend and would hurt the most for Anne or if there was an option to go after Anne's mother so Anne would know exactly how it felt to be stolen by a family member.
As for martin. He will soon get bored of Anne, Another slut would come along and take his fancy.

Of course, which is why I was so shocked when someone upthread expressed a wish to leave Anne for Emma. I mean, really? Her? How much of a glutton for punishment does one have to be?

I would probably go for Nicole
Nicole's not without her own red flags. She was part of what was apparently quite the rolling orgy during her and Anne's college days. She has sex with Anne without the husband's knowledge (not that he minds). She also had sex with the husband without Anne's knowledge or permission (the time when Anne walks in on them in bed, I mean).

At this point, I think I'd only trust Chloe (if she leaves Troy) and...I can't remember her name: the already famous adult game dev who joins his company.

As for martin. He will soon get bored of Anne, Another slut would come along and take his fancy.
I mean, after Emma and Anne, it's clear his father has some horrid need to be cruel to his son by stealing his women, so the easiest way to lure him away from Anne would be to start dating someone Martin hasn't yet fucked. Dad will change that soon enough.

I honestly hate both these characters. None of them have redeeming qualities, the wife is a slut that should be riddled with HIV or knocked up by the amount of dicks she rides casually and the MC is a inconsistent weakling. If the MC grows a backbone he would walk away with one of the three co workers. Either that or put them out of their misery by dying in a car crash.
