I think when he started trying to do that, is when the problems started. The storylines began crossing over. I'm hoping he can keep them separate in TACOS, so far it seems to be good. I'm in it for the sharing/swinging, I have no interest in the cuck route.

I just hope in the rework there is better dialogue branching. One thing that bugs me on the CH 1-14 version is if you play the faithful husband there is a few times Anne talks / acts like you sleep with other women. The MC doesn't even say anything like he hasn't but just full on agrees with Anne that he he sleept around a few times even tho I haven't on that playthrough.

Yep broken beyond repair I feel. Sad but its the broken couple, nothing too adventurous about them by the end.

That reset was literally the one thing that could have set the game on a path where player choice was respected. Instead it was ignored and the hole dug deeper. While TACOS is not at that point yet, the handling of the spa scene does not give me much hope. Agreed on the likeable husband and wife pair and that is what makes derailing of the story hurts more.

ah I haven't played that far to see how it was ignored yet I recently discovered this game only played up to ch 10 or 11. But I did skipped ahead and spoiled myself a bit out of boredom one night since I was too tired to play but did read a few parts here and there lol. Tho from what I played If I recall there was like a mini reset before that also and seemed Anne ignored what she talked about that night 1/2 of the time. Even tho you said the one during their second vacation was ignored the 2nd did seem like more of a genuine reset at least the way it happened it felt like they will be honestly and open more often than not. But since I haven't played that far it's only my guess from a sneak peak haha.

i think the biggest mistake made in the original story is that Anne and Tony don't really set any ground rules. Tony tells her it turns him on to think of her with other men, but doesn't specify who he wouldn't want her to fuck. specifically family and friends should have been off the table. then when Anne later tells her she is not happy with him fucking his coworkers, she conveniently forgets that she was fucking her boss until he got bored of her. then she fucks him again later after he splits with his wife. so definately the lack of ground rules was a big reason the game went to shit in my opinion. of course there were more.

I see that once again they are not going to have clear rules and as a consequence we are once again going to see a potential disaster for the couple. The only thing I want is at least the story that he wanted to tell and I don't know how much freedom we are going to have to choose. because this game was never characterized by doing that, as long as I have a chance to have my ending with Nicole or Kelsie (what will she look like) I would be satisfied

If she wanted to do more because how she went wild and did anything whatever she wanted on their first vacation and it was easy for her spiral and just do what she wanted from there and only let her husband know about it some of the time.

Good call. No rules is a biggie. When couples start out they usually have a list of rules and that dwindles down to just a couple. As time goes on they become more experienced and more attuned to each others limits. If the couple communicate and do it well, then they may throw out the rules, but by then they know each others boundaries extremely well. For example my wife and I don't have a rule for who we can and cant play with, but both us know full well family and exs crosses the line. We don't need a rule to know that, but getting to that place where you don't need many rules evolves over time not just a few months.

The "She doesn't know anyone there" clause is realistic. When a woman doesn't know anyone there and add some alcohol, panties start falling off all over the place (Not just women in the various lifestyles either). I found they usually return to normal life when they return home. Anne didn't, she just powered on and as you said, opened a bag of worms. That is certainly when things start going off the rails. I think she was still in vacation mode and she didn't even need to add alcohol

Your post actually got me curious to do a speed run of a faithful Anne and MC while denying her alot. Honestly that route didnt feel she was that much of a "bad guy" sure there were times where it was unavoidable wasn't very often tho but alot of the time you were able deny her or have Anne decline. So after doing that speed run and while cheating is still cheating it seems like she wasnt that much of a cheat if you don't let her be by denying her or the player declining for her assuming to keep her on the faithful path. Tho i think that also depends on how you define cheating on a open relationship too cause in the case of this game felt like on a non cheating path while yes I did speed run she did tell us about the encounters after the fact most of the time. Only game over I noticed was during the first vacation. But if you are on her cheating path I agree with you she does get that " bad guy" feel.

You're right of course. We had a good erotic story that went the path of the usual stereotypical tropes found in porn as most VNs do. As much as that disappoints me, I know there are some here who still desire to see TACOS redeem the mistakes of TAC. Mircom can make that happen. Its unlikely but you never know as Mircom does pop in on occasion to have a look at what's being said. So I think speculation is not only fun, it may persuade the dev to make some changes going forward as slim a possibility as that is. I have seen it happen before several times so never say never. What always interested me is playing her story without all that filler that had no other meaning than to please a group of patrons. I also share the hope that this time it will happen and I am also intrigued by what Kelsie will look like.
To answer the previous comment, the decline began in chapter 10 but it was not until chapter 12 that it became evident. I argued with him on several occasions but he didn't listen. He only reacted when everything went to hell in chapter 15. I hope it helps you.

I'd have to agree with Leongen43's answer. Different people have different opinions on when it started. It depends on one's perceptions I suppose. Most agree things were off the rails by ch14.

The more I see you guys talking about Kelsie the more I think I made the right decision and restarting to make a second save where I let the MC cheat / sleep with other women Anne doesn't know about. Not gonna lie Kelsie was a part of the reason for that but mostly I just changed my mind and didn't want to miss out on any content while I let Anne play the cheating path. Plus this way Ill have a save to see the difference between cheatings Anne and normal Anne. Though I suspect not gonna be much of a difference other than scenes with Martin and Ryan which ive seen the Ryan part already.

yeah I rarely do it depends on the game some games I got for max content first run or the second run. The whole being married thing in this game made me want to go for the faithful run / low content first initially since it didn't feel like a game id have trouble deciding a LI lol.
