TLDR: Quite a good game! Nice amount of content so far. Hot chicks. Good writing. Nice but rather vanilla sex scenes.

Visuals/animation - 4/5
It's not the same top tier animations and renders as the other "big" titles, but it gets the job done. I prefer DAZ over this, but beggars can't be choosers, as they say. One nice bonus of these kind of visuals is that they don't take up much space. The amount of content in relation to file size is definitely very good. The animations are nice, but they start mid-action and are kinda short.

Story/writing - 4.5/5
It's good! Nice amount of humor and cleverness and the main story kept me intrigued so far. The author shows full mastery of the English language, and this is always a plus.
The storytelling could maybe be a little better, I get the feeling that there's a main story mission but it seems to be on hold in favor of faffing about with new ladies. I don't really mind, that seems appropriate for a porn game, but I'm not going to give full points because I've seen games where the girl encounters are meaningful to the overall story. I didn't really feel that here.

Characters - 4.5/5
Crazy chicks, nice chicks, cool chick, funny chicks. All around very well done on the character creation. Not quite full points because I've seen better character development. Some characters feel a bit overlapping (The "crazy chick" trope is a bit overused) and there's more room for some unique quirks/personality and a deeper backstory for the main characters. It's overall very well done, but it's not the best I've seen here on f95zone.

Lewd content/fappability - 4/5
Once again, a game with infinite tease and handjobs before the "main courses". Not a single creampie scene. No anal. Some light foot fetish, exhibitionism and lactation stuff, but all around pretty vanilla.
It's nice that there's some build-up, with some kissing/intimate scenes before the action, but how many handjobs can a man take?

The teasing is done decently, but I'd love it if the MC went "fuck this teasing shit" and just fucked a girl at some point. The sex scenes are nice, but not really top tier. It also annoys me a little bit that MC's "virginity" (the first penetration scene) isn't with any of the main girls he's been working on, and instead happens with a side character who he's just recently met. A bit anticlimactic.

Gameplay - 3/5
This is a linear VN masquerading as a free roaming game. Progression with the different girls follows a very strict sequence. Handjobs with everyone first before anyone will do anything else, and so on.
What's the point of having a free roam if the progression with the different girls are 99% linear? I don't get the point of this at all. Either make it a strict linear VN or allow girls to be progressed independently. This pretending to be free roam thing adds nothing.
There is grind. It doesn't add a sense of accomplishment - it's just watching the same scene over and over for some stat points, which makes it an example of "bad grind". Some grind I can allow, for example if the grind scene changes slightly each time, to give a sense of progression - or maybe some new lewds as a reward after doing it a couple of times. It's really a missed opportunity to not have a lewd reward with the trainers after certain milestones are reached. Both gym and fighting training could and should end with triumphant sex after reaching say, 10 of each stat! I guess there's an argument that one such scene exists, but since it's a handjob, I'll still say I'm dissapointed.
There are also a lot of time skipping, especially near the end of the current content. New interactions shouldn't be locked behind a "time passed" metric, and should instead be triggered by some kind of progression. Pressing the skip time button to get to new content is just boring.

Sound - 0/5
There's no sound apart from the title screen. A shame really. A game of this caliber should definitely have some audio.

Overall a good game, and I do recommend you to try it. I'll definitely keep tabs on this game and update my score when I feel it's deserving of a full 5. I don't doubt we'll get there eventually, but as of right now, it's not really there yet.

Definitely the best "Illusion" type game, here. Name probably seems a bit odd, but give it a try: it really is a charming VN, with great, really likeable characters, lot of humor, good pacing.

Been threw most games I thought i would like and now going threw the others, wasn't expecting much as most I have been downloading I delete soon afterwards. This is a really good game, good story, good renders, GREAT ANIMATION. Realistic characters also. I'm not a fan of point and click and there only a handful I play but this is smooth and I don't feel I'm ever grinding, there's alot going on to keep things moving along. Looking forward to the rest of the game. Surprised it doesn't have alot more reviews, probably just lost in the cracks for now but keep it up and I'm sure it will take off.

I never heard of this game until the lastest update and it quite shocking that not a lot of people has play this game because Dr.Vibes is really good game and I'm pretty sure that this game will keep getting better.

- feel little bit weird when sometimes CG is daytime when I travel at night
- No skip dialogue option. (When you work or level up your stat)

Overall I think this is pretty good game.

this game has got everything going right for it. a nice sci-fi main story, wide spectrum of characters, beautiful renders, well done animations, realistic body proportions, good sense of humor, even the odd sound effect fitting a scene, everything is high quality in this one. i hope this gem of an adult game gets the attention and support it deserves.

This game's fire af and easily one of the best new games out right now. It's surprisingly funny and well-paced. It's not annoying and grindy, but isn't a boring vn.

As far I'm in right now, I wouldn't say the story is amazing, but I mean I wouldn't say that about literally any game I've played on this site. It's interesting, but cliche. Luckily it doesn't take itself too seriously so it being cliche isn't much of an issue.

The models are surprisingly great, seeing as it's from Honey Select. He actually does a really amazing job.

Only down side is the videos are vanilla and boring, at least the ones I've seen so far. However, the lead up and tease are done well.

Overall, one of the few good games on this site.

Someone wrote “I’ve seen that models too many times, I’ll give it a pass”. Wrong decision! This is Honey Select, Jim, but not as we know it. This game is in the top ten of my watch list, and going up with every update. It is hot, it is funny, it is crazy. It has just the right vibes for me.

The title of the game is a reference to the 1971 cult classic horror film “The Abominable Dr Phibes”, starring Vincent Price. Go see that film if you get the chance. The story itself has some reference to the film too, but this is no horror story. It is a happy, carefree porn story where the hot girls always fall for the hero. Like when Roger Moore was James Bond: the story was crazy but fun and you knew for sure he would always get those stunning girls.

In this game you play a young entrepreneur. After a night out you get assaulted and then rescued by some mysterious people. You wake up in hospital, and after that you discover your debit card doesn’t work and your house is occupied by someone else. It turns out you have been abducted into a parallel universe.

This someone else living in, what looks like, your house happens to be the sexy nurse Lucie you met in the hospital. She introduces you to her neighbour, who has a room to let. You take the room and you start living in a family setting where the hot, way too young looking milf really is your landlady. And the two young and beautiful girls who are also living with her, aren’t your sisters. They aren’t even her daughters. Now that’s what I call a parallel universe!

It is a game where you have to improve your stats by working, exercising, studying and socialising. But the grinding is very mild. You can always skip repetitive events and there is even a built-in cheat modus. Your phone keeps track of your tasks and tells you what you should do next. The story is a vessel that brings you from one hot scene to another, but is amusing and entertaining enough to keep you interested. Don’t take it too seriously. The dialogues are well written and often hilarious.

I started this review with mentioning the Honey Select models. They are different from almost anything I have seen before. No kawai schoolgirls, but hot, independent girls you might meet, if you’re lucky, somewhere in Europe or Australia. Or in your dreams. The artwork is top notch, better than 95% of the Daz games. I daresay that the HS models, in the way this Dev uses them, fit the story better than Daz models would.

So you’re not going to play this game because you think you don’t like those models? I am laughing my sturdy, but way too hairy arse off!

Excellent VN. The story so far is well developed and not to complex. Characters are sexy. I played through the events that I could. I got to a certain point and the game just froze. I still can't wait to try again. Keep up the good work.

Reviewed at v0.3.2. Took 41 days for 1st time playing while getting every listed event. Very promising game with sexy characters, entertaining sex scenes, and an overarching story that is interesting enough to make me want to know more while not overly distracting from the sexiness.

This game suprised me with how good it is! Models are incredible, writing and dialogues are on spot, characters are lovely and they all have different personalities, interface is easy to use and tasks are easy to follow! And it comes with a built-in cheat mode! I am glad I found this game, added this one to my favourites!

And for the first time I've seen a game engine as good as Ren'py! It's almost the same as Renpy, easy to use and quick!

I am a little tired of this platform as the models tend to be repetitive game to game but I definately make an exception for Dr Vibes. Interesting storyline and entertaining gameplay along with plenty to enjoy in the characters. Very immersive experience. Looking forward to the next update.

What an absolute treat this VN has been! I've played through to the end of v0.3.0 and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Story and dialogue:
I'm especially enjoying the dialogue in this one because it soon became apparent that Dr Vibes, like me, is Australian.
Reading a story written by an Aussie might throw a few people when it comes to terminology, descriptions, and references, because we're equally well versed in American and British pop culture, not to mention our own home grown idioms that I saw a few of in this VN that will have people going "what the??"

Relationship development is a slow and steady build up. There are a couple of necessary task that need to be repeated, but its not really what I'd call a grind because you vary what you're doing as you progress. You'll find yourself forwarding time a lot in the early stages. More activities come along as more characters are introduced.

This VN does need some patience. Its not recommended for those who just want to get their rocks off. It is more an erotic comedy sci-fi mystery for an audience that like an intelligent story and don't mind taking their time.

Characters:
They start out looking like a default selection for a VN of or similar to this genre: hot milf mum (not yours, this isn't an incest story), eager loving younger daughter, bitchy older daughter, horny as hell neighbour, mum's insatiable and flirty best friend, etc., but the characters in this game have more spark and colour to them. They've got more depth, more involvement with a bigger picture story which makes them more than just prospective fuck toys for the MC.

Graphics:
Honey Select models aren't among my favourite as they tend to be a bit all the same, but Dr Vibes has done what no other dev (that I know of) has managed - He's done a lot to customise and un-Japanese his models! They look much better than most Honey Select models we see in games.

General graphics quality in this VN is very good. There are only a few animations so far, but they're smooth and natural movements.

Very good start for a 0.1. Lots of humour here and there, interesting plot, plus really good looking girls. Its Honey Select but they are made in high top quality, which was a very nice surprise. The game has free roam/sandbox which i usually dont play, but the greatly done and entertaining women and interesting story, made me make an exception.
