no, restart game (start a new game) and it fixes it.

The patch works fine, just copy the "game" folder and paste in The Assistant main folder

I did exactly that, and the result was what I wrote, the relationships are showing as e.g "dad's friend" instead of "uncle" (or dad's brother" I forget what should be there.)
Note that I'm playing in English.

That's... a good question. I know I've started a new game without it, but it's easy enough to start over again with the patch and see. I'll post again if it's still happening, thanks.

EDIT: Sure enough, a fresh start with both the mod and the i_patch installed fixed the issue. The mod did have one or two places where a Spanish word showed rather than English, but the words were obvious (e.g "flirtar" rather than "flirt").
