Almost everything on DLsite is rated above 4, you have to be comically incompetent to have your game rated below 4. For some reason Japanese users are very, very generous and rate pretty much everything 5/5. From my experience the number of sold copies doesn't really convey much information about the quality of a game and there are tons of terrible games with great sales (Moe Workshop's games for example). Eventually you begin to understand that despite being comically inflated, the scores on DLsite aren't meaningless and work roughly like this:

below 4 - only good for laughs
4 - 4.5 - bad
4.5 - 4.6 - average
4.6 - 4.8 - good
above 4.8 - awesome

According to me at least lol. I am basing all of this on my experience only. There are also some additional nuances, for example old games are rated more harshly then newer ones.

yeah, however even this is only so so, can be manipulative/for sales or something. The latest no1 on dl is

but it looks like shit.More like below 4. meanwhile this game is one of the more fun, and original: yes I know vampire survivors isn't original in the slightest, but the combination of elements are original and fun I've encountered in a while.

A pretty decent few ejaculations, not bad, but not worth the grind that it would take to unlock all the CG.

A small guide if you actually want to play:

Always get the doll item when upgrading (the one that adds +1 projectile, it adds an extra projectile to all your weapons)

On the ? / event tiles, always try to lose or do something lewd. It increases corruption, and with enough corruption the girl will transform and become more powerful.

I've found that the hammer, blue crystal, fire ring, magic missile, the orange bouncy magic missile, and chain lightning to be good weapons.

The mage is very powerful. The warrior is okay too.

For anyone looking to cheat a lot of gold, you'll need the Cheat Engine. Launch the game and select it in the Cheat Engine. Then start a run, any kind doesn't matter, but the easiest one is best. Start the battle and get your first gold. Pause the game and start searching for this gold value. Select 'all' in the Value Type. Then everything goes as usual: get some more gold, enter a new value, and click the next scan. This continues until only one value remains. Change the value to the desired amount and finish the battle. Then you need to win the run, and all the gold will be yours.
