Actually no, I'm not from USA, nor did I ever atended school overthere ! I had Spanish and German (in my country )and

Actually, there's a carnival sequence with Liz that's quite interesting -- everything with Liz is always interesting, but the sequence is really well made. Other than that, nothing... And worst... After that, suddenly, the new Liz turns back to the old Teen Josie Liz, which means that it'll be remade (otherwise, it will be quite weird) and -- probably -- that's useless to play beyond that point because -- again, probably -- you'll have to play it over since, like I said, it'll be remade (I hope...). I think that's what "the merge" means... The new content was merged with the old content. And the new animations look jolted quite like made in Daz... I think the game was being remade in Blender... If so... Quite useless, because it doesn't look so...

So if i understand you correctly, it's a rewrite that has been merge, to be rewriten because of the merge, nice vicious circle, maaaannnnnn somes Patreons gonna get scam.

hey guys,
here is the incest patch for the version 0.4.0C.This patch should work in the future updates too (At least i hope it) but if you find ingame a scene where it is not working please make an screenshoot from that scene and wrote me.
Install guide: extract the file into the mainfolder (where the TheAwakeningLauncher.exe is)

05.12.2022: I attach a seperate update for the v0.4.2 Beta final .It is basicly the same mod like the normal game but i changed there sentence in the proloque. I attach for the moment only the updated mod for that because the rework from the proloque and the normal version has different folder structions and i´m not sure if it will be changed in the future update. Let me know if i missed something best with an screenshot from that scene

when you cant start any renpy game always just delete persistent in both places, that usually solve any launch issues

otherwise if its crashing middle play, make sure that any mods you are using are updated or simply try without them and another thing that can crash game if you used any of unren (console, rollback can simply remove it from \game folder and check)

Weeellllll, version 1.0 is usually the final version, so it's just math, we're at 6 version from V1.0 and it took the dev 5 year for V0.4, so around 7 more years would be about right.

I put no mods in the new version.

every game got pesistent files in
TheAwakening-0.4.0c-pc\The Awakening\game\saves
and in "AppData\Roaming\RenPy\TheAwakening-1535779441 (what ever number of latest)"
usually when you cant launch the game

tho if you got memory issues i doubt its, but cant hurt to try i guess

on which system are you ?
and also post traceback, maybe someone will know whats with it.
