No worries, I was just curious. Game takes place in the US, so I try to 'Americanize' the script as best I can. Lolly I think is subjective, I'm from the US and have heard it used frequently in my lifetime. I think I get all the incorrect 'British' spellings! lol Just kidding Daggum!
But like I mentioned in another comment, watching a lot of British TV and talking to Brits regularly, my 'colour' my thought processes from time to time.

True. I don't know how big women's football is there, and having it believably being a thing was important for story, even if embellished for creative reasons. AFAIK women's football is biggest in the US and the UK and so those were more natural fits for me. But what determines lots of choices is assets. There are practically no non-English language assets, so think about cafe menus, billboards, street signs etc. All the minutae you can take for granted. This type of game is a mega challenge as it is, so not looking to make things any more difficult than I need.

Not sure if you are Portuguese but if you are then Portuguese language speakers are getting some love because you'll be the first official translation of the game. Fitting, given that Pele made the term "the beautiful game" famous.

No, just the Miami visuals and an awareness that in America you often get towns with very obvious/plain/observational names, like Atlantic City. So I went for that feel. Turns out I hit the nail on the head haha because at least two other places went for that kind of reasoning.

That's a good way to kill immersion! An interesting and related fact is that Sao Paolo in Brazil is one of the biggest Japanese "cities" - Japanese population in that city is nearly a million!

I am ADHD, my wife and one of our kids, are on the Autistic Spectrum, and, also ADHD.

So, I decided to replay this game from the start, for some reason couldn't remember who was what and so on.

I have now reached the Café scene with Kimora (I love her) and Priya and the panties talk... I've been laughing like a maniac for a while... this could happen so easily... well... to be honest, it has happened, my wife simply can't help it.

honestly, in AVNs, you could say the game takes place in any city in any country, even if all the assets are in English, people will just accept it. part of suspension of disbelief. the immersion breaking will mostly happen when characters do out of character stuff, or super dumb shit
