I wonder why we don't have more of the actual players as love interests/ harem members? And the monster truck driver just seems like an oddball choice thrown in. I'd rather have one of the players, especially the goalie. We have a whole team, but like only 2 is it, are love interests?

In the devs comments on the OP he says 9 harem members. Isn't that the women already pictured in the codex in the game? So that means no more players added?

So we have no actual list who is "harem" only members yet, and the in game codex isn't the actual harem list, it is just a informational tool. I was thinking it listed the only girls that could be in the harem. Thank you for replying

I thought the list was the list initially too. I didn't screenshot the post, but there was one where the Dev said that certain LIs would be incompatible in a harem. (But we don't who they are either).

Seems like the current list format isn't doing what the dev initially wanted. So some revisions/editing may help with that. Not sure of the best solution, but other games have a full list of LIs and say whether you are on their paths or not, that could be a first step.

He should put a note on each one we've "unlocked" on the list, whether she's just a Li, or a harem possible candidate .

There's options for the football vibe too, non full harem members could be reserves or something. Or the league below what the main league is. I'm not a football guy.

Oh, @ Dev, if you're looking for a British (probably English) game that is in the zeitgeist right now, Elmwood University is that. And it's got a lot of traction, so you don't necessarily have to make your game just so it is palatable to the US masses.

Reading the overnight (UK) posts here and I get it, but at the same time, I don't see much point in explicitly naming every single LI here and now. This game has (hopefully) plenty of updates to come and plenty of room to grow. Who's to say that the plan won't adapt as the story develops, and maybe X LI doesn't quite fit anymore and she'll only be a side girl after all, or dev starts to really like Y girl and/or her story and promotes her to LI status?
No need to write any of the girls into a hole unnecessarily, so it's best to say who are the early confirmed LIs that you can path with in the initial updates and say that the list will change and grow as the game progresses.

Right now the list shows all potential LIs that you have met in the game. I'll probably implement some code where if you go off their path then their name is greyed out etc. But I'm focusing on finishing off Chapter 1 before doing any more UI type things.

Edit: just to clarify in case someone gets the wrong end of the stick... the English are horrible snobs, and "red brick" is a silly term to describe modern UK universities eg built in the last 100 years. The term is usually used by someone that went to one of the ancient and prestigious universities eg Cambridge, Oxford, Durham, and so on, to look down on another. I was just making a joke about this weird cultural aspect, not making any kind of a comment on Elmwood the game (which looks cool).

I'm not seeing any report so far in the thread but I noticed the gallery filter for scene types is broken.
I unrpa'ed the files and the issue seem to be gallery_replays_ch1v8.rpy and gallery_filter_list_scene_types.rpy.
Basically, some scene types in ch1v8 are defined differently or not defined at all:
- handjob instead of hj, masturbation instead of manual and possibly groping instead of rubbing
- creampie and missionary are not defined at all and I assume those are new tags
I sorta fixed it for myself (see appended files). I relabeled rubbing as Groping, added the 2 new tags and changed the tags in ch1v8 to their original names.
I'm unsure of what tags you meant to have, so I may have gotten it wrong, but at least, it doesn't crash.
