It has elements that are good, like the stupid funny non original story that actually made me want to keep playing it. However the fact that the video is so poorly put together that you have to watch everything in one go makes it really annoying. If you press anything while it plays it feels like you skip a head a whole day. The game have a lot of issues right now, but I can see it be a bit of fun if those issues are fixed.

I started the game. It turns out that it isn't a game. Or a kinetic novel. It's a MOVIE. So the movie started playing. It kept playing. I started to get bored. I realized that the movie was just going to keep going and going. That I couldn't pause or fast forward. That there wasn't anything to click on. No choices. Here I was, stuck watching a movie at the movie's pace with no interaction from me whatsoever. No clicking required AT ALL. I was annoyed. This would have been so much better if it was a visual novel because then players could go at their own pace and renders might have looked better. I suppose the developer wanted slow camera movement instead of single frame still pictures, but it really wasn't worth it. I didn't want to relax in my seat and grab some popcorn. I didn't want to play with my pocket change. I just wanted it to be over. I started clicking wildly and this caused me to jump to the next movie and then the next. I honestly tried to start from the beginning later and watch it play behind my internet browser, but I couldn't do it. I couldn't finish watching all the videos. Yep, this is a collection of movies. Or one movie divided into smaller ones. This should have just been an adult rated 3DCG movie instead of Ren'Py game.. I don't understand the point of using a Ren'Py game engine here. This "movie" stressed me out because I couldn't do anything at all. I couldn't control anything. As least in kinetic novels, you can skip the uninteresting parts and slow down and replay the good parts. Here, it's just a movie you never wanted to watch in the first place. Because when people want to watch adult movies, they go to a website or part of a website that features "adult movies". It's like going into the junk food aisle looking for junk food and there is a bucketful of kale there. If I wanted kale (a movie), I would have went to the place kale (movies) are. Ugh. Don't waste your time on this, unless you are BORED OUT OF YOUR MIND. In addition to this frustration I listed, the dialogue is poorly written and uninteresting. And of course bad grammar and lack of capitalization or proper punctuation, maybe because the person's native language isn't English. The nonstop camera movement from all angles was unprofessional. In good movies, the camera isn't all over the place like that. Even as far as movies go, this one isn't that great. I mean if you put this on YouPorn, I doubt it would get many views and likes because the pacing is bad, the camera movement is bad, the grammar is bad, and the dialogue isn't interesting. One last thing, the female looks okay with clothes on, but when she is naked she looks like some plastic barbie doll. I think the developer should at least change the game title to "The Best Apocalypse Ever (a Movie)" and then people won't be fooled into trying it out unless they wanted to watch a movie.

I love apocalypse and zombies, so I tried to overlook the 1 star rating and give it a shot.

Spare your last brain cell and don't play this. The acting is super robotic, voices are automated and the tone is super cringed.

This current version is 8 videos one after the other. This is not a game.

    1/5.

Game is presented entirely through poorly-rendered low-FPS videos with text-to-spech voiceover.

Graphics: Not sure if this is a point in the game's favor since it's stock models, but Helen isn't bad to look at. I almost bumped it to 2/5 because I've seen worse, but it really doesn't elevate the game any.

Animation: Low-FPS when it isn't stop-motion (and a single high-FPS actual video clip to drive home the awkwardness). Sex is weird pistoning, and a jaw opening horror-movie style to show arousal.

Story: Serial kidnapper/rapist (before the apocalypse) takes a girl in as zombies show up and blackmails her into helping him nab other girls. The most stilted dialogue you can imagine, even before it's being said by bad text-to-speech.

Mechanics: Long video clips separated by single text lines. Don't accidentally click or you'll have to start the whole boring video clip over. Don't use Ren'py for this. No interactivity other than clicking past the occasional black-screen when each video clip stops playing.

Conclusion: I want the last half hour of my life back. The 10 minutes reviewing are at least better-spent if it can save someone else the trouble.
