I miss this game every day, had some of the best art out there! :(
Beside the art .the music also is epic.as I hear that I feel like have entered the big beyond.and surrounded in a peaceful atmosphere.I first played this game at my 21.now I'm 23 and still single.but with games like TBB and Five of a kind I can play from time to time.I never feel lonely.

Yeah, heard that before. Some actual transparency would be nice. The problem isn't with the delays, because the game and especially the art is fantastic, so it obviously takes time, but we had "beginning of the year, guys", "sorry for the delay, mostly done, just fixing bugs" to -silence- to "the testers already have it" to "streams are gonna be back soon so you can watch it be made (so we actually DON'T have it ready)" to more silence to now the third time saying streams will be back. Just say you're out 6 months guys, being late-but-transparent is better than this. Don't be like DarkCookie.

Since this has been abandoned for a long time now, someone could theoretically take the game idea and make their own game from it, and train generative AI with Tjorp's art. I'm not a lawyer, but I kind of doubt this is even copyrighted, and on top of that, the creator probably doesn't really seem to care anyway. They could even make a decent living from it, given the popularity of the game.

This is an example. Each nation will have their own variations.

In the U.S. art produced is automatically copywrite protected the moment it is created the only time it must be registered is to bring forth a case. Federal Court ruled that training AI on art without permission is NOT fair use and thus infringes on inherent copywrite. Thomson Reuters vs Ross Intelligence 2020.

So yes these LORAs you find trained in artist's styles are indeed 100% illegal and if you produce anything that infringes on their rights which include purely reputation you can be sued.

Today is June 12th, 2025. There is no news about The Big Beyond today.

(Also, Picarto streams in-fact have NOT been back "very soon", as posted on June 2nd, 2025)
