VN - Ren'Py - The Big Step [v0.7] [Partedes]

Well, it started out promising but very quickly turned into your typical insta-corruption game. I’ll give it some credit for having different character designs, and the renders are decent too. But what I really didn’t like is how the choices feel completely random or don’t matter at all. You can literally brush off a character multiple times and still get forced into scenes with them — so why even bother with choices in the first place? In the end, it’s basically a very linear story where choices mostly just unlock a few extra scenes.

Amazing and fun storyline. Great updates. Worth the time. Several lead charaters with storylines nicely interwoven. Looking forward to more updates. Females taken to places they didn't expect. Sometimes random, but still fun

Definitely one of my top 10 avns! Good quality scenes along with a good story. Updates are common and that huge plus. You won't be disappointed with these super opened minded chicks. Awesome music too! Radiohead! Nirvana ! Huey Lewis and the News!

(Review of v0.6)

This is a novella about a girl discovering her sexuality while attending school and working at a pizzeria. She's almost constantly surrounded by pervs and sometimes it will be up to us to decide what she will do, but our choice won't always be available or be even possible depending on previous decisions.

I do like the main girl and even Alexandra, who we get to know as the perfect snob until something happens that brings her to reality the hard way.

Certain events are staged with very known tunes, most likely not licenced but I'm certainly not telling anyone... Some of those are the best moments in the whole game so far. The situations are kind of whacky at times and the writing gets a bit in the way as the girl tries to rationalize what she does or does not do. Still, the story is quite enjoyable and manages to keep you interested.

The cons here come mostly from the animation department and some facial expressions that are simply weird, with faces that could have been drafted by a little kid. I suppose the developer tried to be funny, and it does work some times, it's only that it sucks more often than not.

Animations are mostly the 2-frame kind. Some have more frames but are equally poor and unfulfilling, I mean "why waste time with this crap"-grade quality. Sex scenes still manage to be quite hot thanks to the nice models (except Emma, I suppose) if you look the other way when you see an exceedingly protruding crotch or some other mishap here and there.

Anyway, despite its technical shortcomings I do recommend the game for the sheer beauty of the MC and the weird situations she gets into.

TL;DR
Overrated. Okay renders. Ugly facial expressions. Meh story. Bad H-scenes.

Story 2/5
This game caught my eye with what looked like an unusual take on the typical FMC story. I'm not a big fan of "shy-bombshell-in-slutty-clothes" games — they tend to be predictable and boring. In the beginning, the FMC behaved unusually for the typical setup of this kind of game; there were pretty interesting characters and it was intriguing to see where the plot would go. But somewhere around 20% of the current content (v0.5) everything flipped 180° — the game turned into yet another typical slop; all characters became horny teenagers. Writing is okay. Choices have no impact on the story and are just yes/no prompts for sex scenes with a character.

Visual 2/5
Renders are not bad, but awful facial expressions ruin them. Faces look like they're straight out of Garry's Mod with those overstretched smiles. There are only two real animations; all others are just slideshows of a few frames.

H-scenes 2/5
They're simply not sexy enough. Scenes are too short, with no buildup in most cases; narration is not bad but doesn't have enough time. Visually the scenes are okay — if you are not that interested in the novel/visual-novel part you may like them. Too many ugly bastards — they make up about 60% of the cast.

The main protagonist is well done and the story is pretty interesting overall. The game has good scenes and nice progression. But I didn’t like the fact that, besides the main protagonist, there are also secondary protagonists taking up space in the game. There are a lot of scenes with other characters that I personally don’t care about. Time and resources that could have been invested in the main character ended up going to less interesting ones. If it weren’t for that, I’d definitely enjoy the game even more.

[Review for v0.5]

Like some reviewers surely wrote before, this is how an adult VN game should be.
The developer is obviously a master at understanding what makes a model, scene or writing hot.

First of all the themes chosen by the developer are some of the hottest, beginning with the corruption of some hot and innocent students. Then the settings and kinks are some of the hottest, like the glory hole, pizza delivery and basically all the rest of them.

Models 4.5/5
They are great looking, especially the two main characters, no questions about it. The rest are not all to my liking, but objectively overall the cast is great.

Writing 4.5/5 The best kind to be expected for a porn game, making things hot, without pretending to create a literary masterpiece. IMHO, if I find myself reading the text and not skipping to the scenes, then it means it's good writing. That's the case here, where I read it all. The text is just long enough or short enough and never boring. Obviously it can be better, meaning even hotter, but if it remains at this level it's still good.

Pacing 4.5/5 For a corruption game this is the make or break, there should be a lot of struggle for an innocent girl to go on that path and to be plausible, so a lot of internal struggle and such. The developer does a good job, better than others, but it can still be improved. Although to make it even slower will drag the game on unnecessarily. Maybe just make it a bit more plausible. Overall it's still great.

Characters. 5/5 This is where the game shines, the two main characters have very well contoured personalities, one is kind, modest, hardworking, naive and curious, the other is spoiled, arrogant, self-entitled, troubled and lonely. It makes one care for them, which one shouldn't because it is clear they are straight on the road of total debauchery. Well, maybe the developer could add options for those that want to preserve their purity and see them marrying. It will make for a short and boring experience, but to each their own.

Content (for version 0.5). 5/5 There's a surprisingly large amount of content. Other games are in development for many years and don't have as much content as this one. Very positively surprised at the amount of quality work created in such a short amount of time. Definitely a developer that totally deserves to be supported.

Technically there are no issues, the sound is good enough, nothing special, animations are also good enough, although the developer is obviously a master at making scenes so kinky by writing, facial expressions and poses, that animations don't really matter that much if at all.

In the end, immediately after finishing v0.5 (I never played the previous versions, so it was quite a lot of content), it left me with the impression that all the other games here are jokes compared to this one and couldn't wait to see the next updates. Actually there are many other great games here, but this one is definitely top tier with not so many others, some of which were unfortunately abandoned.

Final verdict: A rare and very well deserved 5/5.

When I first loaded up TBS, I felt like i d stumbled into something special. Samantha (Sam..the FMC), pulled me in right away. Really. She s not just a character on a screen...she s someone you feel for, with her quiet hopes, awkward moments, and the way she s trying to find her place in a messy, complicated world of a fucked up family and new feelings. The art is gorgeous, with bright, lively characters and backgrounds that make every scene feel like home. The early conversations had me smiling.....witty, warm, and full of heart, like catching up with an old friend. I was all in, excited to see where Samantha s story would go.

But then, somewhere along the way up to v0.5, it all went wrong, and it hit me hard. The game takes Samantha....someone i d grown to care about—and puts her through things no one should have to face, with no way for me to help her. She s stuck dealing with humiliation, creepy advances, and moments that feel way too close to something much worse, and i m just sitting there, unable to change a thing. As a player, it s like being forced to watch a friend get hurt, and it sucks. The game doesn t feel good anymore; it s heavy, oppressive, and leaves you with this knot in your stomach.

What started as a sweet, heartfelt story about Samantha figuring herself out turns into this dark, uncomfortable mess. Scenes with near-rape, molestation,blackmailing and groping—mostly aimed at side characters but creeping into Samantha s life too—come out of nowhere. It s not just the content; it s how sudden and forced it feels, like the game is trying to shock you instead of telling a story that respects its characters. I wanted to guide Samantha, to make choices that matter, but the game just drags her through these awful moments without giving me a say.

There s still some magic in the quieter parts. When the writing leans into Samantha’s small victories or tender moments, it s like a glimpse of the game i fell for. Those early scenes kept me hooked, and the pacing there was spot-on. But right now, TBS feels like it s lost its way, and it s honestly kind of heartbreaking. It s dark, depressive and partially disgusting. I m holding out hope that future updates will give Samantha (and the other unlucky girls)—and us players—more control and bring back that warmth I loved. For now, though, playing feels like a punch to the gut. If you re thinking about trying it, just know it might leave you feeling more sad than satisfied.

SINCE 0.6 RAPING AN INNOCENT GIRL IS NOW PART OF THE GAME (NO CHOICES!!!!)! There is n t much to say. Just 2 Stars for Renders. Thats it. You need to have a dead Soul to enjoy this.

A decent game, but also kinda disappointing. I'm usually not a fan of female protagonist games because they tend to be extremely predictable and unrealistic. Somehow I thought this one would be different, but I was wrong.

What mainly caught my attention were the beautiful renders and original characters. Not all girls are bombshell pretty, the main protagonist is super cute and gorgeous, and after the first scene I got the feeling this game would offer a unique and somewhat realistic experience.

But as I continued playing the story quickly got dumbed down to lazy porn logic. This is another one of those games where litterally EVERY guy (even the ones that seem nice / shy / awkward at first) is a horny rapist. And every girl, beside the two main characters, is a huge slut. This dynamic is fun for a short time but it quickly gets boring after the third or fourth scene where a young slut gets violated by an old pervert.

A 3 star rating would be too low but this isn't a great game, unless you don't mind porn logic stories. I kept playing for a while because of the cute protagonist and perhaps a little longer if the sex scenes had been animated.

First of all I'm not fan of 3dcg and definitely don't like female protagonist, also story is pretty generic BUT the dev is aware of one thing: he is making Hgame. Not wasting time with B grade rpg mechanics or stupidly complicated choice based progression... just making hot scenes and he is doing good. Hopefully he won't lose his focus. Phasing is also good atm no need to rush things to kill slow burn and make people short term satisfied or keep dragging around same formula to milk subscribers more. Another thing it excels is, side characters and their scenes are also working , they don't function to linger the story like almost every other games in here. This is a good example how a Hgame should be made.

The only problem that I have with this game is, you don't really have any choices to make. It would be nice if we could choose who gets to be with whom. Otherwise good stuff.

The story progress is fine, you have the traditional "everyone is a degenerate" theme going on, the omega naive girls stepping into a caricature of an adult world. As I said,I would really like to have some choice in this game.

1. Most female models and main MC are rather good looking and designed well.
2. General renders and world are nicely fleshed out, and quality is also good.
3. Writing is structured and reads well.
4. Dialogue is good, though cheesey because of the story.
5. Sounds are great, the lewd sounds are good as most of the sounds and music. Though my capitalist mindset is that the dev can add even more especially ambient or environmental sounds.
6. Kinks are good, there are several and some are part of the scene like urination in the bathroom. Pregnancy seems to be a thing also, what else will the dev have in store
7. Play-time is fair and quality of it is good, we can always do with more content, but thats just the song of most players. Quality though is good and that matters over quanitity anyway.

1. Story is pretty much nonsense, but works well for this corruption setting and how the AVN is structured. So not a CON, but not a good story in terms of intrique or complexity.
2. Opacity setting for the dialogue box would be nice, as it improves the UX.
3. Some choices seem to be there for sake of messing with the player more than functional, this is because it seems the main FMC is not corrupted enough to act on the choice, but why have it then?

OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS & FINAL REMARKS:

NOTE: The following remarks are my personal opinions and thoughts, which may provide more context and could be useful to the developer. (Read them or don't)

• The corruption driver of this game is pretty good, the MC and some of the other characters being shy and naive fuels the players desire to "corrupt" them
• The choices the player gets, that are not accecible is a little jarring. I am sure I chose most if not all of the "naughty" options, this usually nets the most scenes. Still some choices are locked due to, what I can only assume is lack of corruption, but where would I get the corruption points otherwise? Or is this some troll at the player?
• The way the AVN plays is interesting, having not one protagonist but multiple, at least, thats the first impression you get. When in actual fact the actual MC is YOU the player, who gets to shape several of the characters during your playthrough. This i found the most enjoyable and I really enjoyed the developers way of interacting with the characters. The most interesting or best is the way the player "talks" to the FMC, the actual main character. During the gloryhole scene there is a moment where the 4th wall gets broken and the FMC reacts to the players desires which is actually brilliant!

TLDR:

Pretty impressive AVN here, it does most things a corruption game does, but what it does that is very good and unique is how it pulls in the player directly, especially the primary FMC interaction with the player. Otherwise here are some decent kinky stuff and some fun elements to this AVN. I highly recommend to support it.

A very good corruption game. The different threads of the story get a bit jumbled towards the end, and I lost interest in the whole 'possessed by a goddess' story, but all in all the story is hot, well written and with decent renders.

this DEV knows how to make a good VN, that include good and unique characters, u feel the eroticism, plenty of sexy scenes and plenty of girls. but its the main girl that is the best. naive and hot. surely theres this "all dudes are perverts" but so far its not extreme, its done well. and hopefully it stay in this level. comparing with other VN this need 5 stars as most "similar" VN on this site are not at that level, they can learn from this DEV.

Brilliant game!
An easy 10/10 for me.
Story, characters, humor, scenes are just perfect.
Do yourself a favour and not just play it but absorb it and follow it.
So far there haven't been too long a wait between updates which shows the dev is passionate about their project.

Wow, this game is almost perfect. Extremely naïve gal, sometimes oblivious to the point of retardation, but even though its not the most realistic scenario, the writing is just so good, that you just sink in, reading everything and playing from start to finish (The only scene I skipped was the lesbian scene with the redhead girl and the black one, it was just pointless and unattractive).

Also standing out are the top notch renders, and of course the two main protagonists who are extremely hot, Samantha and Aleksandra...

Btw, DID I say that I really loved the writing?! The dave is so humorous for example, the blond is getting cum all over her face, and suddenly its all slow motion, and the music score is the sound of silence by Simon and Garfunkel. These are the things which clearly prove that this is infect art, and a game which gives its players complete entertainment.

This is the one of the best games I have played so far, excellent characters, different personalities and a lot of kinky stuff along the story, slowly granted corruption game where we can expect a lot in terms of story and renders. this is definitely a must try game!

Hmm....i like the game and to see how Sam got step for step self-reliant is fun. She is a little naive but not too naive ( like the scene with the painter and dont drink the coke ) and i think the like slowly the attention from all ( girls and boys ) imao the scene with cherry in the toilet too fast or Sam is curious . I hope Alexandra ( i dont think they is the bitch if they showing off ) ) help Sam or Sam help Alexandra ( and a girl/girl action between this hot girls and perhaps her sexy teacher too are a dream ) I like Sam is innocent but it is simple with words they believe all ( it is a shame i think Sam is more clever to see the truth but on the other side they is more curious and will things do like with her mother a other relationship ) So, the humour in this game is good ( like eating the pizza with the special sacuce , thinking the first gropping customer eat a piece too , a revenge from Sam ) , i like it, the art and the story is good. But honestly, the scene with the painter and the lotion with hypnose , so boring, better if Sam is willing to do things with him by her own choice imao. I hope in the future they change not in a slut like in other games but Sam like to have sex with girls and man or they find true love with the gym owner ( or perhaps with Alexandra but i know it is sad because it is not mainstream ) I think Sam can be a true girlfriend with Alexsandra because Sam has a big heart is not lukewarm like Alex other friends.

I reviewed version 0.3: this has great visuals and a good story. Can't wait for the next update. Gallery images do not do it justice, images get way better (and hotter) very soon into the game/novel. Choices are currently limited so it's more a VN than a game (not a problem imho, but just so you know what to expect).

Very strong start with a decent amount of content for it being v.3. Good corruption game a decent amount of different likable characters. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a corruption game. Story is decent as well.
