The Harem game's without male competition are always shallow, and the Harem is just handed to you on a silver platter without any effort, and the male instinct is really awakened in that context, so the sex scenes are just boring.

The MC is skilled. That means other men also share his skillset. The question is, which man is more skilled, resourceful, smarter, wiser?

The women are going to need things, items, resources, especially if they're going to get pregnant. They need a man who can provide things and protect them from danger.

I see the NTR tag, so if the MC fails male competition in various forms, his women might get fucked by other dudes.

All I'm saying is without male competition, Harem's feel shallow and empty, because it isn't simulating what the male instinct is programmed to overcome; male competition, winning, then fucking the girl.

that is the problem in this game .. not the upcoming competition, but the fact that

How can anyone complain about the non-NTR, when there is really only 1 glaring issue that needs to be addressed? A lack of an options menu. Everything else seems ok. Nothing special, but decent enough. But not having an options menu is just dumb. That should be included in every game.

EDIT: I want to clarify, it's an oversight, or possibly, an unfinished product that was leaked here. So I'm not trying to be overly critical of the dev. I just wanted to point out that when the game is ready to be shared, it absolutely needs an options menu.

Apparently he didn't even know this site existed, before his game got leaked here, so can you really fault him for not being with the cool kids? The people here get very particular, when it comes to harem and ntr, but we've got to remember that there's a world outside of this forum, where people don't even know wtf an ntr is supposed to be.
So you get devs innocently putting sex scenes into their porn games and then getting told that this isn't something you're supposed to do, unless the scenes conform to a special tagging system.

This is just speculation, since the game is still in its infancy, but I don't think there will be any male competition in this game. They employers made it pretty clear that the MC will be building by himself, with assistance from the townsfolk (which is primarily women). I wouldn't call that Paul guy "competition" because the events of his relationship with Carla happened before the game starts. We probably won't see him again since the MC will be on his assignment for at least a year.

But yea, I don't think this is a NTR game. There's one scene that can be very VERY loosely defined as NTR: some random girl you never met has sex with some guy, but she's a potential LI, so people will scream NTR. But from what I read, that scene will be changed to include some random girl that won't be a LI, so we can effectively remove any thoughts about there being NTR in this game, thus removing any male competition along with it.

Yeah, even if the people don't know what ntr supposed to mean outside this forum there's always that uneasy feeling due to certain scenes where they can't express or define that (me before F95) in few words like we cool kids here do it as ntr.
If he did some research on harem before creating his content then I'm sure that showed scene goes against its definition even more so if the involved party in that scene will have significant role to play in the future. He could have just explained it in the beginning with few words without showing it, i mean any harem fan wouldn't have minded if the girl was some random side chik that you can avoid easily in future and the main characters behavior ain't helping him either. So it's what it is.

Imo, the bathroom scene seems totally unnecessary and I'm not talking because the guy fucked another LI (apparently the dev is changing that), yes, I understand that it is to show that Paul is still cheating on the other woman, blah blah..but what sense does it make if at the time of telling the woman you can't? ( imo fake choices are worse than having no choice,i know this could be call a demo but at the moment this si a KineticNovel) that scene could be better if Mc at least takes a photo or video to have proof, if not, it does not make sense and less sense would it have for the woman to believe the mc knowing that he is still in love with her, it could be a lie.

In the survey there is a choice so that the blonde's baby can be from the MC, well that would certainly be an attempt to save a LI and she seemed to have doubts when they talk,maybe she wanted to tell him or something like that.

Dev if you get ownership Of the thread put planned tags in spoiler genre and if possible some info in dev notes regarding them, If they are avoidable or skippable (it is not the same and one thing is very different from the other), why do I say that? Well seeing that the in the survey is asking if Paul should return, the future is uncertain.(Sharing/swinging/ntr...??)

I saw that in patreon you are doing a poll to know if doing the Game more linear or free-roam (sandbox), be careful with that,is another turn off for many.

I thought patreon site is for the financial support (like, hey dev i like your game and here's some pennies that'll help you in the course) to the dev like many major games here and not for financial dictation by the patrons.

Generally, the dev should have a general layout planned of the game he wants to build. With a vague idea of how it begins and ends. Listening to the dictates of polls will lead the game swinging in incoherent direction and that is why it is always a bad idea, NTR or no NTR.

Yep, it's hardly your game after that. You as an artist or indie developer should always have control over how you want your content to be whether someone like it or not. By conducting polls and all you are just confusing either side whether to let them commit to the game or limbo since obvious future volatility.

I honestly think the game is never intended to be a Harem game in a traditional sense(maybe MC gets Harem in the epilogue after paul impregnated them all ) jokes aside, seeing those questions from survey i dont think it caters to Harem demograph (though the synopsis leads us to believe its fairly vanilla harem), i think Dev gonna change his plan for the game and ultimately gonna end up not pleasing anyone including himself, i think its best if he sticks to his vision and find his right audience and make the game he originally planned for 6 months, cuz changing everything and pulled on all the sides, is not gonna work in the long run, since i see 365 ingame days is planned atleast...so good luck dev!

"which he supposedly did something but its hidden behind a paywall" Also now being silent here is not helping stop whats going on in the thread. Change some of the dialog not show some questionable scenes and it can go right back to the original premise of the MC impregnating every girl. As it stand now what is posted for download is going to keep this back and forth going.
