Xagrims's The Promise - drove me nuts. It was poorly implemented, never ready for prime time, but a frustratingly interesting and original story. The grind is way too enormous and there are not any worthwhile hints or any walkthrough.

Hmmm, I spent more than an hour watching a video about gameplay on Pornhub, and the result is the same as you said @@. One more thing is that there are too many words and talking in the game @@. There are too many words and choices, but whatever you choose, it also leads to the same result :-? Even though the art was great, the gameplay is kind of fine too. I thought it would be more interesting if there were struggles in making choices for unexpected situations, but there aren't

LonaRPG as a whole is like, "What if we made an edgy game that's objectively awful and just added in 1000 things to make it objectively more awful?" hidden away by the fact it's a decently unique take on hardcore ARPGs that also happens to be a hgame.

Well, filtering out any game with terrible English in the overview will save you a lot of time.

So... 95% of most japanese RPG-type games on here and 80% of the renpy VNs? All the money some of these games make on patreon and they don't ever think of hiring a proofreader.
