the game is basically not optimized and also my pc says "this file is harmful" it means it can degrade your pc life.

Copy the 2 files I attached here (steam_api.dll and steam_appid.txt) to *your own game folder...*\The Chronicles of Lancelot\The Chronicles of Lancelot Gold Edition_Data\Plugins\x86_64
Rename the original steam_api.dll to back up if you want. Otherwise just overwrite it when asked.
It will bypass the Steam login.
I also use Melonloader and Mono mods as instructed a few posts before. In my case, the game runs smooth after that. (As smooth as it's optimized anyway.)

Man, I just check again and I can play it with just the 2 files I posted above (for the Steam version). Don't even need Melon... It's not at hope's level, just a little bit tinkering and a tad less laziness.

1. You download the Game from the main post on page 1 (it's likely only playable on PC/win7-11)
2. You extract the Game to where you want to store it
3. You download the Lancelot.7z from my post above, extract it (winrar and 7zip are free extracting apps if you need one)
4. You open the extracted Game folder in step 2, navigate to: *your own game folder...*\The Chronicles of Lancelot\The Chronicles of Lancelot Gold Edition_Data\Plugins\x86_64
5. You open my Lancelot extracted folder, copy the 2 files inside into the folder (x86_64) in step 4, overwrite those files if asked.
6. Run the game by double clicking the "The Chronicles of Lancelot Gold Edition.exe" in *your own game folder...*\The Chronicles of Lancelot
7. Enjoy.

You probably copied the files to the wrong places.
See the picture: the 2 (crack) files in my 7z posted above must go into that folder (folder's address in red box at the top)
If it still opens steam/demands log in, then you did something wrong.
I had maybe an older version of the gold one. It asked me the Itch.io code instead of the steam one, so I redownload it and now it works.

ya its work tysm for your effort too bad the game sure not unoptimize so sad I have to play the game on lowest setting with frame drop lol. Need high end computer. I guess the devs rich af only use high end computer when making the game lmao.

I own the game, both on Steam and on itch and there is no android version anywhere.
