currently where im at for changing his face. To me this looks younger, but at the same time, at least in Australia, most 19/20 yr olds look a little more weathered than this which is why i had the other face design. thoughts anyone?
The game is good, really, I can't wait to see what happens next.
On the downside: several images are missing (I didn't think to note which ones, sorry).
And... Let's just say that the developer's sense of humour isn't the same as mine. But everyone says I laugh at weird things, so that's not a good reference!

I think he looks fine both here and even as he is. I wouldn't stress too much about making him "look right," but just so he looks good and you like his look enough to keep working with his model. Different people look different at different ages, especially when you take cultures, region and ethnicity into account. Even where I'm from I've seen people in their 30s who could pass for early 20s and people in their late teens who looked 30 or older. If he is supposed to be tall and athletic then he'll naturally look older too, tall people tend to "age faster," in many ways. I'm in my 40s and if you put a picture of me now next to a picture from when I was 22 I look almost exactly the same, a little more grey hair, a few more lines around the eyes, but I've largely look the same for the past 20+ years,

As for the characters, need to work on the players' model morphing. The layup for the MC's first workout looks really weird.
The alignment with the floor corner and his shoes doesn't help.

he's doing a reverse layup, so his hand is going to be backwards. honestly most of the detail in the basketball scenes is going to be where i spend a lot of time. i love basketball in real life so this game is going to reflect that.

To be completely honest if i knew how to just record a video of the whole process of him doing a reverse layup i would just do that, but i don't even know how to record any video let alone that kind of thing. so eventually you may see that change but for now it's all just screenshots like that

No offense but why are you using honey select if you want Western looking characters,Like HS games are famous for not looking western,If its a money thing might as well use the sims 4 to do that sure its more cartoonish but that way you get to make your characters look how you want them.

None taken, but im using hs because i like the style of it. i know i was never going to get a 100% western looking character, but im pretty happy with how they turned out thus far, at least on the girls side of things. the males can definitely use work, however i didn't really put a lot of effort into them as they won't have very much screen time compared to the girls

I like the writing and the story so far. A few notes:
There's a lot of images missing. First instance that mainly comes to mind is when MC is getting yelled at by some girl after his basketball practice.
There's also instances where "inner thoughts" of characters aren't in italics.
Looking forward to more of the story, I like this MC, he seems normal and capable and someone the girls can lean on to help with their problems. Good start.

No, I wasn't worried about his hand. It was his legs and whole posture that looked weird. Way too stiff. If you want to emphasize the basketball scenes, your characters are going to have to be more flexible.
