Does anyone know if the route with Dom John has him take control of Ava and Dakota? I swear I remember that happening before when he came over but I'm not sure if that's still in the game

Nothing at all. Babies and such won't be a thing until The Epilogue so don't expect anything after 9 months. The only thing that CAN happen is if you're a female MC and get pregnant. You won't be able to switch and you're stuck as a Female for that playthrough

It's been a while since I tried the new content of the game.
Two new interesting but shorts events added : the driver and Christmas eve.
It also became more complicated with the change of the escorting system (you can no longer go to the bar with Chris and have clients before). I think I'll play with the easy mode from now on.
Some observations :
If you sleep at Penny's appartment on the wednesday of the thanksgiving event, you're awakened by some noises from Dakota's room.
In the evening of the thanksgiving event, you can watch TV with the 3 girls though only Elsa and Ava are indicated in the landing (it's also the case the rest of the time : only one girl in the landing while you join the 2 in the living room).
Chemistry Education (one of "Spend time with Penny" choice) stays New! even if used already once (I didn't try all the interactions so maybe others have the same problem).
If we go to sleep after meeting Chris or some clients, the message for the invitation of Christmas eve isn't sent.
If we phone Penny on the 24th december in the early afternoon and chose to fool around (only or also staying the night with her), the Christmas eve event doesn't take place but you say that a message was left by the one invited though you slept alone.
Good continuation.

Really like the idea of the game and I'm enjoying it, but I have a question though. I'm trying to do a relatively romantic playthrough but I reached a scene where my MC forces Penny to give oral to some guy she clearly hates and expresses clear disgust while giving the guy oral, through the use of a drug.
Is that forced and unavoidable or did I miss an option somewhere so that doesn't happen? Really enjoyed the game up to that point, but that really took me out of the experience because that isn't something I want my MC to do.

Been so long since I went through that - don't we have a choice of her taking the shot or you?
Either way, it is to test the new version they created, and she volunteers - and you do not know she really despised it until afterwards... and you can apologize - so kind of up to you if you cannot handle it or not. The MC and Penny get past it if you continue playing - so no harm done in that regard. :>)

Oh boo hoo! Worried about Penny but what about the emotional trauma inflicted upon Lenny? He was expecting to do his job when the MC called him in and got sexually assaulted and forced to receive oral. Nobody ever thinks about how Lenny feels.

Damn that's a shame. Is that really the only instance of something like that happening on a relatively romantic playthrough or is it common?
Probably will drop the game if it is common.

That, Diana becoming a cum vampire against her will, and Dakota revealing she’s literally whoring herself off camera are the only completely unavoidable sex-things involving the main cast that I can conveniently recall. There are some routes that will result in them having sex with other people, but I wouldn’t particularly call those romantic paths, anyway.
Not really sure I’d call anything in this game especially romantic, though.

To add to what diabes said. The Dakota stuff you never see in front of you and happens behind the scenes. Diana also has a scene that pops up randomly but if it doesn't, she's all yours so long as you actively have sex with her
