Yeah I think dev is wanting to move on from copycat, they already talking about new games. Which is a shame because this one is really good.

It depends, i switch between MC/Mom and MC/Sav. Both are very good.

I don't mind Astrid in the game more cause I get to see her mom more if she still alive
this 1.0.0 update is my last draw? Either make mC total wimp or develop Mc to take revenge? This VN has great start now it has become bland. From the story i read you want to take mc revenge route. Therefore, develop toward that way.
Why are people expecting the MC to take revenge or this game to become like some bad ass revenge story? The game has been set up as a hard NTR from the very start. This is like expecting a vanilla game to suddenly have a NTR ending.

It has potential to become full blown meta-narrative story on NTR Renpy games. And surely is a slasher in some pathways (Khalida and now Astrid...), so if you mix it up and get Craven's "Scream", but with cuck'n'shit.

Asking why someone has been cucked or blacked in Renpy game or even if NTR is avoidable becomes cliche in that manner.
I guess the author of Copycat was fed up with all formulaic NTR-based Renpy games, just as Wes Craven was tired of slasher formula and decided it's time to do another one, but with a twist on meta. Sure, a lot of female characters will die for absolutely no reason and bodycount will rise considerably, but that's a sacrifice we're willing to make anyway.

**What's in the next release?**
I was going to wait to do a new teaser until I had some more exciting renders to show but I've been busy (having the flu and explosive diarrhea, sorry for oversharing) so the ones I have so far are not that exciting.
**Some of the things to be included in v.1.1.0:**
- Returning to the school parking lot, Jason is met up by a tormented stranger with whom he used to share a mutual friend
- Gretchen desperately tries to convince Jason of what she considers Savannah's true character. Is he letting his mother's opinion ruin prom?
- Jason unexpectedly gets asked to prom by a popular girl he never said a word to before. But there is something off about her?
- Savannah wants to fulfill her childhood dream of being crowned prom queen, will Jason be her king? Or will his bullies ensure the night ends in tears?
- Having delivered Astrid to the gang, Dredd consideres Gretchen has proved her loyalty. Now only two major obstacles stand in the way for him to acend to the throne: Jamal and Cal
- Jamal ensures Astrid has a place to stay for a few days. But he is not known to be the charitable type, and twisting the knife into her boyfriend is always an option on the table
- Sarge grows restless over Jamals inaction, and demands a show of loyalty
- Jamal reunites with Gretchen under her own roof. Breaking her promise to Jason almost instantly. But for how long can she keep this up?
