Only dev can give you a comprehensive answer. But considering how obviously this game follows the steps of HC-series - Ryuu will probably be blind and deaf till the very end.
I think we could say that Ryuu is not so slow or dense, he himself feels concern about leaving Marin and Yui alone with Enlai and he also felt a bit uncomfortable when they were invited to work in the bar.
But that does not mean that he is not blind to the signals given by the girls or how the men around them share themselves, the clearest example is the cousin who harassed Yui and Ryuu as if nothing happened.

If the price difference was this much between the day1 tier ($9) and the second tier that gets the game a week later ($5 now but you'd prefer it to be $2), most people would rather wait a week and save 7 or 8 bucks, which would make Inatari lose a significant percentage of his income.
then I think the best move is to make it available for 1$ or 2$ tiers after 2 weeks.

People like you need to stop spreading this sentiment of "false morality". This is F95Zone not Patreon, if you want to support the dev then go ahead but stop coming here and trying to spin it as a bad thing for us pirates to want an update when its available.

If a game is good, it gets support from people who want to see the work continue, having a leak on F95 does negligible damage otherwise why would people pay for latest AAA releases when they can just download from pirates bay? You are using the kindergarten method of high-roading and quite frankly we are sick of it.

Great points but there's a mayor flaw in your statement, nobody was talking about a leak. I don't hold it against anyone if they wanna download a game from this site god knows i've done it countless times, i literally couldn't care less if the Update was leaked or not trust me on that.
If you read the conversation again you can see that the guy was not asking for a link to the game, he said that $5 is way too much for an Update in his opinion and that he'd prefer if it was instead $1 or $2.
To which i said that asking the dev to lower the pricetag on his product by this much is not exacly a profitable business model, and that it has a 0% chance of happening since nobody wants to l-l-lose m-m-money.
Comparing a triple A game to a dev's first game with a few hundred subscribers, that's funny. Not hard to understand that even pirates want the dev to continue to work on the game, so they have the patience to wait. No need to bring everyone down to your level, some pirates care about the longevity of the game and can keep it in their pants until it is leaked or released for free. This pirate site excuse doesn't mean people can't care about the devs.
And I would say those people want to pirate more than you, because the longer the game lasts, the longer they can pirate. No one is saying they are better than you because they can wait to pirate, stop trying to play victim.

Facts: Someone let it be known that an update was out for 5$. You told someone the update would cost them 0$ if they just waited a month.
The senitment being, people who make comments like yours are not needed. We dont care about your stance on pirating/waiting, we are all here because we want access to porn games and we have no intention on paying for it...thats the honest truth.
The amount of people on this site with this hypocritical weird ass contrived sense of empathy annoys me to no end, if you want to be apart of a circlejerk community then join the Patreon comment section or the dev Discord, why are you here? And again this isnt just directed at you, this happens in many threads where people like you act this way.
I wasnt comparing games I was comparing the principle. I can go on Steam right now and buy Witcher 3 Game of the Year edition, I love Witcher, I like CDProjekt Red games HOWEVER if I wanted to play Witcher 3 right now I would head straight to pirates bay and download a torrent and save myself 20-30$. I use this same mentality for porn games.
What you need to understand is that pirating games dont do nearly as much damage as you seem to think. When people support a developer they dont do it because they have to, they do it because they want to. If people have faith in a developer and want to see them continue, they will support them.

It's the fear of the unknown, or the mystery of it as you put it, they do this in movies too, whenever there is like a torture scene and the camera pans out and you can only hear a scream, they do this knowing that no matter what they show you, your own mind can go to even darker places when thinking about it

He's paying to get the product early. Not because he just wants to support the dev, he's doing it because he doesn't want to wait, so if it leaks he doesn't pay since he has the product.
I don't doubt the dev takes a noticeable hit when the game leaks. Sure it's a pirate site, if it leaks then steal it, just don't try to tell yourself some stupid shit like, "he probably doesn't even notice it".
anyway... we need a hero! - we ve waited long enough imho: all 10 and 5 Euro patreons surely paid and got their game aleady, the harm towards the dev should be pretty low.

I at least don't support the creator to have the game before time or to play the "good guy" in a pirate page when I myself have pirated many games.
I support the creator on Patreon because I really like the project and I want him to continue doing it, because I know that this is something that requires time, effort and an investment (depending on the quality you want to give the game can be quite expensive, just a simple soundtrack can cost you 20$).
Besides, I consider that 5$ is not a lot of money and is something I can afford to pay monthly without suffering pain in my pocket.
I currently support both N_taii and Inatari on Patreon and while I'm not in favor of the game being leaked, I also understand that many people are desperate or want to play the new updates (either to see the new scenes or because they want to keep up with the story).
But you also have to respect that they just want to protect their game (which they have every right to do) and keep that little bit of exclusivity that their Patreon subscribers have to access the game.

If you desperate to play the update just support the dev. There are very few instances where I think someone can’t afford $5. If you time to play porn games all day you have plenty of time to look for a job if you don’t have money. If you don’t have money at all just wait for free update and if someone leaks it is what it is
