Of course it's better to wait, because you guys already played the update... :HideThePain:
Yeah, but this is honestly a situation where it is better to wait. The update is a bit of a nothing burger and Inatari should have simply put out a post saying that release was going to be delayed to the first week of July instead of putting out half the update. It's not bad at all... it's just kinda boring since nothing of note happens and it's a little short.

Yeah, I haven't played it obviously. Just wondering why he didn't postpone it until it was done. I don't know how pushy his supporters are.

It's only been released to the higher tier patrons, who have never leaked it. I think it's only leaked once in the first few days and that's when a guy subbed on patreon specifically to get access to it. I'm also not really sure why everyone really desperately wants this update when the main event of it is only releasing in 2.5 weeks.

Patreon developers typically fall into one of three main categories outside of the ones who don't actually earn money. There's the bigguns who can survive pissing supporters off because they'll often regain more than they bleed unless they do something extremely stupid. There's the medium size who can't really afford to piss too many supporters off but are stable enough to operate on their own schedule and supporters are accustomed to it. Finally we have the smaller ones who make enough money to justify the project but don't make enough to have freedom to develop as they see fit. Inatari is in the third category and they likely felt obligated to release an update now because it's close to when they originally said the update would be out. Patreon development is like trying to catch James Woods in a box trap, if you don't space your Reese's Pieces the right distance apart you could lose a lot of supporters.
