Keeping MC moronic despite glaringly obvious signs is frustratingly bad writing. And "normal" sized compared to "monstrously large" is still a small dick. So the fairly typical stereotype then. NTR without the conflict (if you can't fight for your LIs, win or lose, what is even the point in playing?) or emotional turmoil (triggering that jealousy anxiety) because the dev doesn't know or can't be arsed to write a compelling plot, is that even NTR at all?

Just leave the MC out then and call it for what it is...an ugly bastard scene generator. Already saw in one of the earlier pages dev will put the alternate endings up for votes. With the audience these kind of games (with the lack of an alternative route) attract it seems kinda set what those will be.

there are worse things to pick on than a character's obliviousness in a porn game.
are you the kind of people that also wonders why the people do not hear the bomb ticking under the table? or how spaceships make noise in space? are you telling me you can hear the noise of cum filling the inside of a vagina? this is just the nature of the genre.
giant robots have animal faces because it makes them look cooler. the MC is oblivious of the cheating happening behind the semi transparent curtain because it makes my dick harder.
The push for realism is one that destroys the romanticism of a story. and even the most realistic stories know what they at one point have to take a step back and let a fantastic element come trough. even documentaries do it.
as for gamifying NTR elements I firmly disagree they always fain into a cycle of unfun gameplay:
- Game is focused on NTR but you unlock NTR with game-play.
- The game is too easy because you have to loose to get NTR ( this spits on my face as a player)
- If you make the game hard because it is NTR ( it is too difficult for a porn game)
- so if you want to win you just end up cheating (defeating the purpose of the game)

Yes, it's NTR. The MC is not completely oblivious and the girl next door is struggling with her emotions. More than one woman is interested in him, he's presented as a fairly competent soldier and worker, and he's a good person. On top of that Ryuu notices some strange behaviours and investigates, has gotten in the way of the various women in his life and the men trying to steal them away either on purpose or by coincidence multiple times, and if the build up in the current update is anything to go by there's a decent chance that the girl he's in love with cheats on him either before a date or after a disappointing date with him. Things are progressing and Ryuu is not completely unaware, he's just not the most socially adept young man.

Hmm, based on the games I've played you must be living the life!
I feel like ryu is actually one of the more aware ntr protagonist that i've seen, he clearly knows something is weird in the village and also he notices when the female characters are acting weird or different. Now i kinda do agree with the small dick/Ed trope, its overplayed and honestly i think mc's still losing with a normal sized dick or maybe even big dick would hit harder cause then its like they have no excuse, female characters can even say the antagonist is just better which would feed into the ntr even more imo, but even with all the awareness ryu has we know how this game is going to end, ryu is going to lose everything at some point only "good" thing this guy gets is maybe an ending where he just leaves the village rather then him being the only guy getting cucked in the village, oh and the soldier guy that likes the purple hair girl forgot his name yea there both doomed.
At the very least be glad you're not so ugly you're a different art style from the rest of humanity.
