Have played the new Update and I enjoyed it most of the Time. There was one thing I found annoying.
formerflame have said in his last post what to expect from this update, so I didn't expect too much growth for the MC.
This update was more for world building, which happened. We have a lot more information, and the good thing is the MC has the information too.
Now it is time he steps up his game, not only in terms of Magic, in terms of character. I agree with
HansDampf788 (in allen Gassen) and
Boehser Onkel (Trinkt auf gute Freunde). He was too ok with everything in some situations. In others, I did like his reaction. But overall to passive.
The Trail of fire was at least for me so over the top. That I could laugh at the situation. But I think it was like
oidex said good explained afterwards. For a such kind of game.
The one thing I really disliked in the update was Cassie. I am sorry I stay what I said in 0.2. This Teenage banter is annoying.
If we get character growth in the next update, this can become a very good game. The World is great enough now. It is time to get to the characters especially the MC need more. Right now he is to shallow at the moment.
The foundation is there.
Now it is the Time for him to become active and navigate his own life. Aware of the lurking dangers and the new possibilities. He can't be so passive anymore.
If he stays this passive, (and he is very passive even if this is reasonable but not cool) this game cant become a success, that's my honest opinion.
By the way, I like the pacing. I am sick and tired of slow burn. Because slow burn means nowadays: "Nothing happens until Fall 2023". This story goes forward and that's good. Don't have the feeling of Milking. Growth doesn't need always time. Experienced it myself. Sometimes your approach and change overnight. So yes I think it is possible especially in a Porn/erotic story.
