probably not for me. i've never been a fan of forced sex scenes and the Trail of fire one was dumb. in this case it gives me the impression we wont be able to choose the chicks we hook up with.

which is weird cause the last update seemed to give that impression at least. but this update ruined that. pretty much just closed the game after that cause it started to feel Kinetic.

The MC being led like a dog sucks also but i was willing to leave that alone for it being so early in the game. but now? idk.

but yeah my main issue is that it feels really kinetic.

1) Visuals look great including the environments and models.
2) Writing is OK, I wasn't skipping every other line which is good. Some funny moments.
3) All female universes are fine, they just feel bizzare.
4) MC - Way too passive, stuff happens and he just does nothing, no questions or anthing. Plus he's treated like a child which is just annoying.

Game has potential, the MC just needs to assert himself and start doing what he's suppose to do.

Sure, the MC need work, but it can happen and like you said, the potential is there. Other games haven't seen an update for 10 Months and have up to 300 Patreons. It riddles me.

Nowadays if you want to milk patreon/subscribestar you need stepcest/incest/milf/loli (loli being the milk cow atm) in your game, it doesn't matter if the game is good or not, you also need luck.

This game even if it is not perfect deserves more subs, even with some flaws the dev storytelling abilities are pretty good i'am pretty sure if he keeps developing the MC to be more assertive he'll see more subs in the near future.

Excellent start formerflame Good sex scenes, decent story, funny humor, and not a single dick besides the MC's! Oh, glorious day when a game manages to hit all of these notes. With all good and no bad.

I have yet to see anything here on this site that completely makes sense in terms of story beats, progression, and narratives within the world that they present. There is always something that makes the player question a given situation.

If the story, and writing for the most part is competent enough, I just partially turn off my brain, relax, and go with the flow with what the dev is presenting. That's how I cope with some of the strange shit that goes on in these porn games.

Besides, are we really expecting "The Shawshank Redemption?" I sure as hell ain't. I just wanna see some tits.

There are many visual novels on this website that have far better stories, even with sexual scenes, then many big name games. This is a good game, though I see it as more of a kinetic novel more than anything else. Yes, some of these games on this site are straight up porn, but some have actual stories and people will discuss the fact. The Coven has the makings to be pretty cool, which is why people are arguing.

There is even an argument to be made that some of us prefer the story driven games and not the porn.

If you were reading it, it was all laid out fairly clearly and follows the established story quite logically.
The Dude was put in a life a death situation that's normally a test of magic ability, and at that time he only knew of one way to demonstrate magic - cum in them. So he just evades for a bit trying to get them to stop cause he cant defend himself. Eventually you see Sura talk to the priestess (who probably tells her to stop and see what he wants to do, as she says later she was trying to test his character not magic skill) and then Sura turns the fire off and lets him do his thing.

I will say this, just because there is an in story reasoning, does not mean it makes any more sense. I like the story, but this does not mean the in game explanation or yours actually makes any sense in any logical manner. This is why I said earlier that the pacing is a little too fast. At least this does not seem like a Patreon milking scheme.

I agree with you, and to be honest, I find myself enjoying this game quite a bit. I'm a sucker for supernatural, horror, and sci-fi stuff. Those genres usually draw me in.

As far as certain narratives within this games story which is trying to drive specific plot points whether they be sexual, or not, I tend to agree that there are some questionable moments.

Would I like for everything to be coherent, and make sense? Sure, but as long as it has decent, and overall competent writing, I'll come along for the ride.

Sure it should be written so we can follow i think everyone wants that, but if Dev wants me to play next game and the next after that created by the DEV will need better writing Coven is easy to fix to bring together and Dev was told it was loosing belief in the story line but was not rectified in chapter 2 or 3 so now the only logical fix is a flash back or away forward that truly gives the MC an obvious backbone over a short time. Dev might have problem here at this point do to story indicates last 20 male magic users were bad people and the MC is too good except he is a cheater and went to that easily. so how bad to make him? To me Dev is hiding something (i hope). and just maybe we will learn it soon or the story may just not have it who knows next couple chapters will tell.
