Edit: Don`t only click on the dialog box Area with the Fatui mage was the solution.
How do I capture Characters in this? Is there a button I am missing?
I am on ver0.9 I can follow the main quest (gold Stars Kequing at the gates -> Yelan Stoned at the entrance of the Casm -> Game Over by the Fatui Mage inside the Casm). I have no choices here or anything.
I have exhausted all the dialog with the Characters (blue stars) and nothing changed.
Every character has a gold lock icon by them, which, as far as I can tell, does nothing.

Still no way to skip the terribly built progression-blocking osu minigame? Shame.
I got smth like blackscreen (after dialogue there're only blackscreen and cursor)

just in case we end up in a situation like last time : where the game dosent get updated on the side until the next undate: can some one send a download link ?
can somebody give me advice? i cant get trough Romaritime Harbour, Fontaine, after two sentences about train i cant continue story td doesnt report crash music still playng i just cant skip to next window. Tried to reinstal still nothing....
I have the same problem, but Fontaine characters are not unlockable yet, so it's best to ignore this part and wait for future updates.
Holy Hell, I don't know what possessed the dev when they made these OSU minigames, but they are absolute dogshit. Half the time its a coinflip whether your click on the yellow ring counts or not. Literally just needs a skip mini game button to make this game actually good.
EDIT: Nvm turns out lowering the resolution made it significantly easier

Am I the only one getting black screen at the start of the game? Is this a new update issue or the fact that i've played earlier versions messing up with the files?
Got the same problem.
Ive tried deleting everything related to the game but still get the black screen.
Happens in both version 0.9 and 0.10
