Looks like lots of people are coming across this error like myself. I tried using the bug fix, but it did not work out. If anyone has even an inkling of an idea of how to fix plz respond.

Here's an updated version of the game for those who can't run it:

My solution was that I had to run RPGXP, Steam version, which was the latest. Open the game and saving it. I think what it needed was just an updated version of the RPGXP.

Workupload

Not sure if it would work, but it worked for me when I found the workaround it.
if someone could upload this to mega. Plz and thx

V 0.9?
Does it mean the next version will be Final?
It's better not to think of it as a single number, though it can deceiving. There's usually a scheme in place; in the case of this NEVER EVER's public releases, that scheme would be <whole_number>.<natural_number>[<letter>]. In other words, it's not a decimal number but a whole number and natural number joined by a period with an optional trailing letter.

Nice to see something get released. From the looks of it seems like it might have a few bugs, but I'm sure they'll be ironed out soon.

Funny to watch people who have contributed nothing complaining about the free stuff given to them not being up to their “standards”. What's even more pathetic is people who contributed nothing putting words in patrons' mouths. It's fine to point out issues and ask if there are any workarounds, but acting like you've been cheated somehow when you've given nothing is stupid.
Your statement doesn't work in the real world for one reason people have a right to an opinion no mater how good or bad to act otherwise is to ignore free speech.

I think this time about a year ago he announced he hadn't quite finished his update and polled his supporters about whether he should publish it or take the time to fix it. They voted to wait, so he waited a year and then published it as it was.

I'm not really complaining. Artists sometimes break down and cannot work on things that become a source of stress. Actually publishing something--anything--is a way to break through and continue working again. We shall see.

But here's the odd thing. This is not the first time I started wondering what had happened to an old, incomplete game only to have it restart less than a week later. It's uncanny.
