I don't remember the name of the kid that is equivalent to CoP Boo in Sarah Rotation, but I thought it was a comparation of the relationship of Sarah and this kid, and the CoP MC with Boo?
Google shows a Sarah and Ludo which I can't recognize... a girl and a monster in a labyrinth?
I don't know if you follow his Discord, but... it's far more frustrating than it seems...
He keeps asking if people enjoys AI created art from his work, and whenever someone complains about delays in the game, he bans or people protect him
What people wants is small progress in the content, but he's writing scripts for nearly two years since he said he was done with the art
His kid was born 3 years ago or something, but what really pisses me off is that he answer very fast, he's somewhat active at his Discord, and I already saw a lot people willing to help with the programming, but he doesn't want it
It's so damn outdated already to still use rpg maker xp with this level of art...

Thanks for mentioning this game. I came across it a couple times but never decided to try it. it turns out to be great with a lot content.

Others mentioned it already but CoP is heavily based on the ScaleGarden games, especially Sangeki of Gear.
ScaleGarden was one of the best developers ever imo, and I still love their games. But they are rather old.
Apart from Sangeki of Gear I would suggest Rhode's Fortress and Breath of Iron and Fire. They have all the same playstyle and are my fav games. A shame there aren't more games similar to ScaleGarden out there apart from CoP.

Yeah a really good movie one of the best of the late 80's and if possible best watched when your 10+ years old. I don't know how old you are but the 80's had some of the best movies that far exceeded, movies these days are like computer graphics, never had actual puppets moving. Looks like computers made people lazy in the industry lol.
I just made a nostalgic reference to the same name, don't mind me I'm just a very nostalgic person. Any Sarah reminds me of the movie lol. I really think you should watch it and if you need any more movie ideas let me know in messages.

he talk, but, if you type in google "curse of pleasure patreon v0.8", you can find when was the last real update..
are they updating this game on their patreon, cos they are definitely posting stuff on there apparently related to "main quest storyline" but I have no clue if it's this game or something else.
Dev is pretty much been edging his own backers since 2020. He hasnt worked on the game for the last 3 years and only been posting AI art on Twatter since hes that lazy to create his own.
Damn, yet another lazy developer ruined another good game. Such a shame it's abandoned. This game is the closest to Sangeki of Gear by scalegarden, in fact some of the scenes are straight up rip-offs lol
Looking at his patreon, he makes it seem like he's active but it's all AI generated bullcrap. Even if the update arrives, I'm afraid it'll all be generic content without any substance or originality made through AI. Fountain of mana got abandoned in a similar way, now the Dev is simply freeloading on his backers and providing absolutely nothing in return... same as waifu academy, both suffering from lazyass devs
I'm convinced it's a free money printing machine on patreon once you make a game for a few years and then go AWOL and it doesn't even matter... Keep your community guessing and just watch the money keep coming in every month by doing absolutely nothing

Well it is a good game but sadly the dev is 50% of the year sick ore has other problems + there were no progres in the last months/years all he did was to show 1-2 pics every 2-3 Month.

Sorry, it's been a long time since I posted a status update here. I was sick for about 2 weeks, and it was so bad. I started working again a week ago, and so far I've only managed to finish one quest in Boo's questline. For the next quest, the magical recording device will be in the gameplay, so I have to prepare some additional assets for it, as you can see above. Those were made by AI and edited a lot by myself to adapt to my drawing style.
Hmm... There are so many ideas in my head now for what's coming with this questline. I will need some time to make the best out of them.
