Man I can't help but feel bad for everyone who awaits new updates. Now I too want this game to get an update but maybe it's because I've been burned so many times but in cases like this dev, you get 5-15 mins of real content.

It would be kind of sad if a new version was released tomorrow.
With all the chaos in the world, it's been comforting knowing that at least some things stayed the same. If Rannero actually releases something, I'll start to question my very existence.

I dont think anyone is "awaiting" this update here (except the ones paying him on patreon). Best case scenario, the game is gonna be complete with a few hours of content. Worst case scenario, its gonna have 15mins of new stuff like you said with promise for more later on, which will never come.
Whatever case its gonna be, I'm just here to see the chaos in the forum lol. But I have to admit, the game is good and I would like to see it completed.

I aint sending shit to anyone here, I dislike both supporters and detractors of Rannero. Supporters for blindingly believing in him... some did not even realize they have been paying monthly until today. Detractors couldnt move on to something else or spread awareness. Anyway 2 things to be aware of... 0.9 will not be compatible with mobile phones because of the use of some music scripts. Not that mobile gaming was ever supported. And from what I have heard from one of the testers is that there is 8 hours of content but this is what took him to complete everything skipping dialogue and cutscenes and pretty much not enjoying the game on purpouse. So I asume there *could* be at least 12 hours of content.

It is a good thing that the "Journal" was not implemented. Dont worry, it wasnt a quest logger but some sort of NPC and places encyclopedia.
Now it is a matter of waiting for the release which will be tomorrow night, right?

Ok, it's been a hot minute 3 years since the last update, I don't remember much from the story.
Anyone got a sumary of the most import events that happened?
All I remember is being cursed at the start, then the bandit camp, the brat coming along with her, something with goblins, and that's it.

I recommend you just download the game and grab a save we upload in this thread multiple times, and go through the collection room. Your summary is not far though.

Thanks for the info.

12h = 720minutes
720 minutes / 20 minutes per scene = 36 scenes. (20 minutes = 5 minutes scene + 15 minutes walk around/fight/collect items)

36 scenes/ 36 months = 1 scene / month

I would say it's not "that" bad given Rannero's speed ( 5 days / picture if hand draw, 2-3 days / picture using AI + hand adjustment).

I just hope the AI pictures are not as bad as some of the posts after his adjustment.

lets say that i am in the middle, i actually love Rannero style but the time that he took to realese the update is really too much, in my opinion the main problem is that in this 2 years of time he often said that he was close to realese the game and than drop another 6 months of waiting.
He could have just said"i'll take my time to develop" and not giving false hopes.
