I think it's not about being abandoned rather delayed for years, there shouldn't be an abandoned tag for this game, there should be a tag for delayed or hiatus, until further notice.

answer : 1. seita will leave the house and crying in the lake near homeless people house in the rainy day
2. yuuki will search seita in the rainy day , you must go to the homeless people and go to lake in the upper left , and then she find seita and comfort seita and tell go home together , seita will find a way to kick boo from the village if i not mistaken , main story end

How'd you see the scene where he kicks him out of the village? I finished it but it ends with seita making his sister breakfest

Since no one was responding there is a bug fix under the download button. i will try miself to see if it works cuz i have the same problem.

So, not all tasks are completed. Try talking to all the villagers at different times of the day. It worked for me - it started the event I missed.

how roam around during night? I know I need night then read the first book but when I rest during evening it's morning after and I can't read in evening
edit I find it actually, I need to say to seita during evening to have dinner and then it's night
