I think that's the point. It creates contrast and subverts expectations. There's quite few games (not only in porn genre) like this or even much worse - pastel, soft, candy-like graphics and absolutely messed up content.

In most RPG Maker versions, the "Luck' stat simply affects the chance that you'll be affected by status effects and how high the chance of your own status effects working is.

There are some RPG Maker games where Luck does more than that, such as influencing critical hits or item drop chance, but these require the dev to program their own code for such functionality. As such, it's always a safer assumption to think Luck in an RPG Maker game is only for status effect chance.
