Hi AVPJummer thanks for the kind words and valuable feedback!Tried it and was really fun. Artworks and characters look great too. The only feedback i'd have is that currently the enemies seem more like a necessary annoyance, as they dont seem to drop loot or give exp, so there's no real incentive to killing them. Also that becoming stronger seems to be only possible through either sheer luck of finding better items(which i didnt have) or jsut grab all the stuff you can and sell them to buy scrolls to strengthen your weapon/armor. A leveling system would work well for that, imo.
Anyways, keep up the great work!
Enemies not giving exp is an intentional design choice bc I want to support "pacifist-y" builds, e.g. builds focused on stealth, immobilizing, etc. Given that this game will have more companions (not just Viola) that could interfere with that this might be impossible but that's the reason, anyways. Perhaps to increase the incentive of exploration (and bumping into more monsters) I should put more loot in random rooms, not just the locked vaults.
Hi TheStuffTester, I appreciate what you've written, it means a lot!I very much like your vision for this game so far, it really does feel like you want this to be a proper game first and a porn game second. It's not everybody's cup of tea of course, some just want a quick wank, but I for one I'm invested in what you can make of this game.
I love your art style (I really like them pudgy women) though for the sake of variety, more noticeably varied body proportions down the line would allow more types of people to enjoy it too (or not! keep them thicc women coming ), and while I am also in the camp of monster-on-human sex being hot, I understand that this might not be the direction you wish to take this game in. I do feel like it's really hard to write women fucking monsters without them being... slutty about it in some capacity, I mean you just have to be some level of sexually deviant to want to fuck a monster to begin with! Which doesn't seem like the kind of characters you are writing here, at least not yet.
I personally like the way you are writing your characters so far, I like that MC is not a bastard, or rape-y for that matter, not that there's anything wrong with that archetype in a porn game, some of my favorite games have an MC like that, but a noble MC that is not an absolute moron and has a respectable level of self-awareness is often a breath of fresh air, so I support your decision to not cave in to the mainstream demand.
I also love the mystery dungeon gameplay, pretty fun and the fact that you're not locked in battles makes it easy to grind or skip enemies at your heart's content.
My feedback on the mechanics is just about the same as other people have pointed out so I won't bother repeating theirs, just quality of life stuff that I'm sure you're already addressing, the two most pressing matters for me are the hot spring not standing out enough, maybe add some plants or vines to the room to give it a more "Oasis of respite hidden in a dusty cave" feel to it?
And the menu navigation can get a bit cumbersome later on when you're stacked up on stuff, namely having to scroll up to find a specific item like the scroll of enchantment was just a little bit of a hassle, but that's also because I hoarded stuff instead of selling it hehe, maybe make the items that can't have +1 and such stackable? like the scrolls of enchantment, and a way to use them one after the other would be nice instead of having to scroll back to find the next one whenever you want to apply multiple ones to an item. It's just a minor inconvenience really, but it would be nice!
Other than that, great start to your game. Very excited to see what you have in store, keep up the good work!
Re: monster on girl, I'm interested in adding h scenes which can be unlocked with items, some ideas are:
* potion of monster transformation -> can be used in combat or can be used w/ certain characters to see a monster on girl (or guy on monster??) scene
* potion of cloning -> can be used in combat or can be used w/ certain characters to see a 3some scene involving clones
* nets -> can be thrown in combat to immobilize but can also be used to see bondage scenes
Re: the hot spring, I added a separate hot spring sprite in version 0.6.18 (which is on itch)
Re: scrolls, first off the scrolls should be stackable, that's an oversight, thank you for noticing it. As for having to open the menu over and over again to enchant things, I understand that's not very ergonomic, noted.

To everyone else, a few notes:
I posted 0.6.18 on itch last wk but I haven't posted it here yet. For F95 I think I'm going to post a batch of updates ~1x/mo so I don't give too much work to the mods/uploaders.
If you are interested, here are the changes:
- It's possible to have sex w/ characters again after finishing their events.
- Add basic sfx to sex cgs (plan to improve them over time)
- Add rod weapon (low damage; increases magic damage)
- Add ring of destruction (increases magic damage)
- Tome of conjuration summons a sword per level (e.g. tome of conjuration +3 summons 3 swords)
- Tome of conjuration swords expire after 20 turns
- Item enchantments (e.g. "of devouring") affect item price
- Items like cloak and ring of shadow don't reduce presence radius past 1
- Trees/Reeds/Kelp set base presence to 5 (before, trees set base presence to 1, reeds set base presence to 2, and kelp didn't set base presence)
- Added plants to B8/B9/B10, for now (for now bc it's a flavor miss but no trees/reeds on the hardest levels is too punishing for stealth builds)
- Fixed cloak, which said it reduced presence but didn't
- Add visual indicator of presence radius (when presence radius < 10)
- Remove tome of burgeoning (I might re-add after reworking the stealth system, but right now it's too powerful)
- Increase sprite/portrait/cg frame rate from 4->5
- Added sprites for hot springs
- Grey old messages
- Although there are some stealth-associated changes here, stealth is still broken. I think I'm going to make it so attacking a monster shows your position to the monster fora split second so it can chase you into the grass. And I still need to add the metal gear solid "!" indicators when a monster notices you.
- I plan to support the mage build more; right now I think it needs a high ammo low damage "starter" tome (and more spells in general).
- I spent most of the last 2wks working on a new character, a tsundere / girlfailure mage. I finished writing her first batch of scenes but I realized that I need to write scenes w/ her + viola so you can progress their routes w/o having to be alone with them... will take some time.
- I also plan to write a short route + h scene for Paila's mom, which should be more straightforward.
- And of course there is lots of feedback in this thread which I haven't addressed yet, e.g. mouse controls, making it harder to select a dialogue option by accident, etc.
