Now this is just me typing out loud but I feel sex comes to easily for a game tagged "Dating Sim".

I’m on the opposite side of this, for a dating sim the fact that all are so ready to jump your dick is a pretty big turn off for me.

I agree that it should take longer to have sex with some girls (e.g. Seri, some characters which aren't in the game yet)
For those girls, I think I should either
* write more scenes
* require increasing an "affection" stat between scenes
In either case, this one will take time.

Gonna keep an eye on this one. AI can be pretty stupid on floors 4/5 and kill themselves pretty easy and scenes don't seem repeatable (yet).

The herb doesn't generate unless Paila is in your party
And if B4 has been generated already it won't re-generate when you have Paila later
So you have to exit the dungeon and retry the next day.

Thanks for reporting; want to reduce this kind of friction in future versions.

It should appear if you have her in your party. It was in a room by itself.

If so please make it reasonable like adding content in between like kissing then bj then sex not just adding some grinding love/corruption points like some games do and making it longer for the sake of making the game longer because it kills the overall fun.

I wish it wouldn't reach slow burn but if it does I hope it stays for the "some" girls because when a dev does that for all girls they usually add a whore character so you can grind some money to buy her as a painkiller because most players won't be happy to play that long without actual sexual content especially at the beginning.

Now variety is the spice of life, it good to have some be down to plow right away but keep it in line with their personality. Like the merchant being down to fuck by trading gold or treasure would be right for her. However it’s also helpful to have the other extreme, a girl that takes forever to get in the pants of. Someone you really have to work for.

Agree, I'd like to have various speeds, e.g.
* have sex earlier, have more perverted sex later
* have casual sex earlier, have more romantic sex later
* slow build -> sex

Hi, I have to take a break from reading the thread bc job and other obligations

But all the feedback has been amazing; I think I have a good plan for
* next non-patch version (fix major issues like suicidal companion ai; do low hanging fruit like repeatable sex scenes)
* what to cook for the long term (2-4 non-patch versions in the future)

first off : the f95 page is good but do add a bit more off the gameplay on the preview and probably at least a sex scene , cause there only one gameplay pic someone seeing this page probably need a bit more to get a acurate idea of the game , same for a sex scene
2nd don't listen to everyone here on f95. the community is good and all and the provided feedback is a nice thing but there be so many project that have been run to the ground due to this same community, remember that ultimately this is your game and you do what you want with it (but don't go over your head with it too )
anyway there are other thing but i don't think i'm the kind of guy that can acuratly talk about balancing and gameplay,+ its the kind of thing sucessive update will correct . this game looks promising good luck developing it

Gameplay is good start and fast paced, and the pixel art is great. However;

-As it's been said many times, the companion AI is so bad it's useless. Right now you might as well just tell them to hide in the corner, or they'll die in seconds.
-There's no progression, no level ups, and no loot drops. There is zero incentive to fight any enemies unless they are in your way.
-Why would the player choose anything but Sword and spam the spin attack non-stop? Fighting enemies one at a time is death as you usually just get mobbed as soon as you step into a room. In theory it seems like you want the player to switch weapons depending on the situation (sword for mobs, spear for water, hammer for tough single targets) but the micromangement isn't worth the trouble when Spin Attack is usually the correct answer.
-For the above reason, potions with niche effects are mostly just for selling as my only concern is living long enough to DPS all the mobs swarming me.

Supported you on patreon. Setting sorta reminds me about Azure Dreams. Surprisingly this already feels like a proper game and even spicy scenes are well written instead of usual three words in caveman speak we usually get here, still could be a lil bit longer though.

Sex scenes straight away is a good choice, because it shows that you'll deliver instead of teasing 3 years with handjobs and abandoning your game after that. Besides we rarely see girls seeking sex in hentai games, so more active approach is pretty refreshing.

A)Girls jump on your dick way too quickly, this makes them really uninteresting and since you already got to the goal there is zero reason to keep interacting with them.
B)It’s fantastic that the girls are immediately ready to put out only after exchanging 2 lines. No chasing them or messing around.

idk if its the AI in general or just slimes that result in the jankiness I see on floors 4/5 where the companion just get infinite kited by slimes. It was pretty entertaining the first time I saw it though.

Also does the shop keeper stop appearing in the dungeon after doing her quests? She appeared on 3/5/5/5 for her quests then after she was on 2 then 8 then never appeared again for me. Big fan of the gameplay overall and had fun making an big chonk build. Appreciate being able to enhance gear to keep getting stronger.

I don't know if this is on the to-do list or anything, but might I suggest adding a tiny delay between key presses while continuing in dialogue/scenes? Currently it's a bit too easy to accidentally hold Enter for a little bit too long and accidentally advance two sections of dialogue at once or make a dialogue choice by accident.
