Because it's clearly a lie. If you scan it yourself, let alone, go to that link, it shows clean.

because "malware" this one sandbox detected is just Unity's telemetry
I assume you've saw big ass header with summary result from 56 antiviruses

...you with your fucking terminology. Whatever i'm not even gonna try and argue
its clean until u put it in a sandbox and it shows it triggers something, so might be false positive and be unity telemetry as a post above said, anywany just use a virtualmachine to run the games anyway.

Let me add to what I said earlier, that link that the other person posted who claims there is malware, why are you scanning the compressed archive? No shit that will set off false positives.
For the people panicing, just test the exe yourself or better yet, go buy the game and support the artist.

Can we get a post with the modified file to have the dev mod that shows stats active? I see the walkthroughs, but haven't gotten them to work.

in the virus scan and reports, not just the .exe one. This is important because sandbox checker will do close to nothing if the exe can't find load those libraries.

Okay. Looked through spectrum with package intercept, Process monitor and checking with system monitor.
Windows told me to f off. Because Unity is allowed to have "checks network package", my PC hardware and PC ID. Aka remember those "We will get money per install" unity bs? Yeah, that`s what virus total picks up if you read packet
P.S. Basically it`s escaped the box, because it`s allowed by some win11 mechanism. AKA consensual corporate dicksucking of each other. So it`s normal behavior
