The crop is very noticeable if you played or seen any of the original CG but the images are slightly bigger and technically HD in the Unrated version. Either version is acceptable and one doesn't replace the other.

Not true, while it is a long vn there is nothing boring and it is also rather fun. The music, characters and world are very interesting and original.

This VN made me cry hard I remember playing and oh boy the feelings that flow through me. This is a recommend for anyone, just be ready with tissues. I also want to point out if you are a lazy ass you can find the ending on youtube but it won't have the same impact so play it.

Talk about filler, the majority of One Piece is (totally unnecesary) filler. I despise filler. I don't know how I managed to get through the first 90 episodes without breaking my monitor, but here I am, still watching after 908. Human psychology is unexpectedly quirky, innit?

I remember reading this a long time ago. Because of the art and the way Maou is always shown in the shadows in the first 75% of the game, I thought that Maou was actually the main character moonlighting as an asshole. It kind'a ruined the story for me because I spent half the time trying to figure out his timeline and how he was sneaking around. I swear Maou looked like the main character, and I think it was sloppy of the art team to have them look so similar. Otherwise, it was pretty decent.

Looks like I gave it a 8/10 on VNDB after I read it, which is a pretty high score for me.


I have found over the years that this depends on the reader. For example, I can't stand Clannad. 70% of it is basically Seinfield episodes wedged in between actual story. Little bits that don't have any affect on anything. I read the entire thing up until a heroine dies in the afterstory, then I'm like "God dammit, fuck this" because it was obvious the story wasn't going to end anytime soon if they're still shoving climaxes into it. Dropped after 50+ hours invested. Never went back.

I felt the same about MUV-LUV Alternative. For example, at the end, when the girl is pinned against the ship by the alien, it is literally 45 minutes of her just sitting there talking and soapboxing when she should have died 44 1/2 minutes earlier. Or something, anything should have happened before 44 1/2 minutes had passed.

I agreed with you man. Like, those VNs are not bad, it's just that those damn filler is everywhere! Due to this, most of my top 10 VNs are those which have some sort of gameplay in it. Although, there are some VNs that are pure story/choices that I really love, about 3 of them i think. Of course, my top 3 VNs would likely be Fate/Stay Night (original one, Realta Nua one is a bit ..... meh imo. There is the combined version though....) follow by Rance (who doesn't love the rapist hero, am I right?) and probably either Steins Gate or Daitetoku?(basically about WW2, but in space, with futuristic elements. Forgot the name really)

This is a website for pornographic games. The only thing that makes tags relevant here is kinks and fetishes. So while it may be true that the legal definition of "incest" includes step incest, that simply doesn't matter for people who are into incest stories. In this context step-family could just as well be completely unrelated. It's irrelevant.

It's like being into interracial porn, booting the shit up with your dick in hand only to find out that the "interracial" couple is a white chick and a guy wearing blackface. It's a guaranteed turn off. I can't even count how many games I simply closed and deleted simply because someone mentioned "step" in them.

Also, Kanon's route was the most boring and bland one. After reading for a few minutes I simply skipped all of it and continued with the interesting characters. This is a great game and I'd recommend it to basically anyone, no matter your kinks. The naughty scenes may be vanilla, but the story is more than worth it.

The twists - both of them - were disappointing and soured an otherwise stand-out VN. The side-routes don't have that issue but also aren't all that special imo. Still worth checking out if you're an aficionado.

I don't think they soured the VN to be honest. Yes, they were kinda forced and a let-down if you really anticipated something else. But in the end the game is about the dynamic between Haru and Kyousuke, which is fantastic.

As someone who has fully read over 200 VN's (Non-western), I completely recommend this game. But I have a bit of a disclaimer. This is a novel for people who enjoy novels. It's a long read. If you enjoy reading a good story, this one is for you. If you want a quick fap and find yourself perma-pressing Ctrl to get to the "good part" then this game is not for you. I'm sure that's where many of these people who find it "boring" are coming from. No clue what they mean by filler. It's a story that also contains parts of everyday life. This isn't a Michael Bay film, there does not have to be perpetual action and instant gratification.

The main route is by far the best route, and an emotional rollercoaster. If you have the patience for only one route in this game, play the main route with Haru. Some routes are just not of the same standard, and that's okay. They're put in place to give other perspectives, and honestly just there so you can fuck a waifu you choose that isn't Haru. This VN is of top tier in my opinion. There is a reason it's rated so highly among actual VN readers and communities. It's less of a porn game and more of a story with porn in it. There are better VNs out there of course, but don't let some of these comments drive you away. I may come off as some sort of odd VN elitist but that's not my intention. Simply, I don't really buy some of the criticisms being told here and don't want people to be scared off of what I believe is a great story. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but some of these comments just seem to be a matter of the reader not wanting to read, or hoping for a different ending than what they imagined their self-insert should experience.

It's a fantastic novel, and one of my favourites. Just go in with no expectations and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This really is a great game, it's one of my favorite visual novels of all time, along with titles like Fate Stay Night or Steins;Gate. It's really hard not to recommend it.
