There are still some good games coming out but in RPGM and some Japanese games but Ren Py games most of them are bad

100% if it wasn't for the slow burn and how the communication and what have you makes them feel like a real couple I probably only check this game out every 6 months or so. As I don't really play AVN's that I consider porn AVN's unless im bored or just curious how it has developed since I last played it , unless there is a character that keeps me interested to check it out update to update.

Stumbled over this game by chance and it is a really nice one. Good graphics and there is a nicely developing swinging/sharing/netorase path in the game. Our hero couple deciding together if they do at all and when, how far they go. No behind the back or humiliation sh...! I´ll definitely keep an eye on this game.

Recently finished my first blind playthrough of the game (v0.4.1), and it was pretty fun! Went with a mix of "pure" and "fun" choices so that Kathryn wasn't with every sleazeball that popped up while Luke always remained faithful. Luke also never gave an inch to the boss and while I would have wanted him to be more assertive in pushing back it was satisfying to see that Luke might actually have a spine. The "rodeo" scene with the HR manager, as insane as that was, near the end of the episode was pretty hilarious, ngl! Hope Det.Louis will actually be a standup guy as there are a lot of dirtbags in the game. Seems like there's an interesting story here too!

Anyway, here's some general thoughts I had of The East Block. The visuals look really good especially for the characters -- no generic, lookalike bald headed men and out-of-place supermodels found everywhere. Each character looks unique. The setup for how the couple becomes more sexually open is believable and doesn't involve weird magic or anything, and the plot is moving at a good clip too. I get the feeling however that the game wants to keep pushing the story forward and only deviates slightly during each scene with the choices the player has made. Sometimes there are slight inconsistencies due to that, but the story is also well-written and progressing. The dev's use of transitions is used strategically which helps to elevate the game over a feeling of captioned clip art that other games might have. Also, just as importantly, the dev does a good job establishing the desired atmosphere for scenes with clever use of audio. They help to create a certain tone, mood, and depth to scenes by raising or lowering tension or emphasizing the emotional connection between Luke and Kathryn. I like that.

This is a game I'm certainly going to keep an eye out for. All the best to BobbyBoy and the future for the game. Let's see where it goes from here!

Agreed. If you must sacrifice certain things and to avoid bloat to make meaningful progress in the game's story, then focusing on the core of what this game is all about can't be a bad thing. The evolving relationship between Luke and Kathryn is at its core what keep players here and what they enjoy about your game after all.

Currently there hasn't been a lot of variation to the overall story as the first half sets things up for the second half of the game.

I find most games in this genre to suck but I'm glad I broke my no new game rule and tried it when it first got here. It is certainly a gem.

Who the heck pays for anything before its finished? You don't pay BMW a monthly payment for years while they develop a new car only to receive it years in the future do you? You wouldn't pay for the new Call of Duty for years until its release, would you?

These porn games are fun and when done right can be awesome but don't ever subscribe and pay for anything until it's completed.

I have been burned several times myself until I stopped being stupid. I will NOT pay for any game until it is complete. Reason 1. Many devs as I stated take money from idiots and then abandon their game. Reason 2. Several games I enjoyed until the dev changed the direction of the game (which is totally their choice) and I stopped liking the game, now you might say hey you paid for the game and liked parts of it. Sorry that just doesn't cut it for me, I want to know the entire product is something I will like until I spend money.

Also early access games on steam adult or not you only pay a one time usually less then have the cost of a normal game and you get access to all the updates and the final product when its released, many devs REQUIRE you to be a current sub in order to keep getting updates. Say you paid $50 to support the game, well you would keep having to pay in order just to get the updates which is ABSOLUTELY STUPID.

I will say I very much like this game.

You are not living in reality. The game from an individual developer isn't going to get made like Call of Duty. These are indie ventures. There isn't a production studio behind it... it is one person. Also, people were preordering Telsas that weren't built... people commission art work that is not finished... there are many examples. No one is forcing you to do anything, but you should appreciate the people that support the artist. They are the reason you get to check back in 2 years to play a finished game. You are not giving profound feedback or knowledge here, you are simply disconnected from the fact that small time developers (most that are still learning the craft themselves) are new to the software and trying to figure out a balance with production and real life. It is way more common for this to be a second job for many and one that takes a ton of brain power and determination after they get home from their main source of income.
