I wonder if that same mentality will be present in the planned prequel for Kathryn then. It's supposed to be about exploring her younger, "wilder" years before she meets Luke, so it seems like players will be "forced" to have Kathryn do some wild sexual stuff, no?
I am saying the above fact clearly sets up Kathryn as a slut or at the very least a nymphomaniac, and picking "corrupted" choices in The East Block clearly seems like a pseudo-canon path Bobby envisioned for her. I don't reckon he's ever going to confirm or deny it, but that is my sentiment - and for good reason: He's provided plenty of evidence with just that prequel idea already.

personally im waiting till the prequel is out to say or not if she is meant to be a slut or nymphomaniac as I assume it's gonna be up to us how we shape her at least I hope so. If that is the case I don't think there will be a canon version of her obvious the dev has one in his mind while giving the players the freedom to choose. Now if there is forced stuff in the prequel then yeah that changes things but for now that one scenes isn't enough for me to label her as corrupt or a slut but that's just me I can understand why you do.

You're right bro let's focus on the now not the future I sometimes am guilty of focusing too much on what will happen but I should focus more on the present.
Let's appreciate that this game in less than a year is already one of the best in the genre. It's one of those games I'm genuinely happy to play which is pretty rare.

I don't know about you guys but when I read there is a plans for a Halloween special i'm more excited about that then the update. Just thinking about Kathryn dressed up in some slutty costume is going to be amazing

yeah normally I don't care for them either but within the context of a sharing game I can't but help feel excited for it.
Would love to see Kat in some kind of slutty succubus costume and getting into character. Making all of the guys drool and kneel at her feet.

The Halloween special will most likely be completely non-canon, but I wonder when in the timeline of the game it takes place based on character development.

I hope we finally get to have a proper branching of the story, because so far it's still just the same events with slight variations depending on your route.

Most of the time that requires a massive unnecessary timeskip though, the only game I've played that had it canon without a timeskip is My Dorm, just hold a Christmas party in the middle of summer.

I more-so just meant holiday themed game events and scenes, not actually lining it up with IRL holidays. I just hate when anything holiday or any other type of special, is non-canon garbage. Basically any special events, side stories, or what-if scenarios, I either just skip or don't bother with it if it's a separate entity from the main game. To me it's all wack.

I don't have any problem with non canon or holiday specials sometimes they can be fun. As I see it as an outlet just to have fun and do something silly for fun. But the main issue that comes from them is taking dev time away from the main game. Now I wouldn't want them personally as I rather get more content with the main game. Now if they don't take away much dev time I'd have nothing against it every once in awhile. But if a dev decides to do such a non canon side story for fun i'm not gonna skip it either if I actually like the game I might as well check it out doesn't take to long to check out.
I would only skip it if the side story has content I could care less about. For example I think 1 or 2 games I play has such content. One of them has a scene with a character I like and 2 character I really don't care about. So I would only check out the side story with the one I actually like and skip the ones with the characters I don't like. That's also the other issue if the side story contains characters the majority of players don't like it a even bigger waste of time. I will put up and play paths of characters I do not like in a main game but never non canon stories.
