I say - am very impressed by this game. It's not ideal, but it is definitely better than many other games all together. My standing ovations to the author. I'd like to share my constructive feedback about what could be improved to make it even better:
1. The most close game which came on my mind to be quite similar to The East Block (TEB) - is Inside Jennifer season1 (IJ), an improved renpy remake of older poor game on rpgm engine (all the other games of that studio i have checked and strongly dislike them, they are good in renders and zero in character's personalities and boring as hell storytelling, except IJ, it's a damaged, unfinished, cutted as hell, buggy, but still almost a masterpiece, at some points.)
In short
- IJ's main advantage is quite good detailed and long lasting scenes of sex content itself, nice camerawork in most cases, not too perfect but quite enough natural movements of characters on rendered images or animated scenes, but IJ's main disadvantage is that it got a mess instead of storytelling and lot of cut out routes\scenes.
- TEB got it vice versa - a very good storytelling, much details of thoughts, feelings, frights, doubts, evident passions or secret desires of TEB's characters, they are showing to player deep enough and realistic personalities with natural behavior (taking in mind that they are fighting or falling with EP1 effect, you know). BUT! On the other side - let's say honestly - TEB got quite modest scenes detalisation, with poor number of renders (for example - i'd love to see more frames of currently made light gropping events, more surprised or catched with growing passion faces), low images' detalisation, not a good camerawork (like on event when she has to work as maniquen - camera angles are just bad, or it was shown from not enough points of view to enjoy visualy in a full way) and most painful - unnatural keyframe animation of characters' body parts movements during the sex events (the most bad example which comes 1st on a mind - is the movement of the girl riding a flasher on a streets, it looks like 2 frames of animations, just up and down, no hips working, no any of other body parts phisics. too low number of emotions showing on the characters faces, ect. Or 1st BJ to Nate - it was so mechanical, emotionless, i wish it could look better in images, because the event is hot itself)
- In conclusion - if to add at least not lower than IJ's scenes detalisation and in the same time to keep TEB's very impressive quality of storytelling - it will be a nuclear sexbomb! Mark my words.
2. I like the way of smooth going corruption in TEB. But sometimes it skips much of possible steps of corruption escalation, overjumping lots of missing events in the middle of light start and quite hardcore things right next after it. For example - it starts with sudden groping scenes, like with guy who gropped her just slightly on her jogging outdoors session, or guys who joined gropping her during a photosession with MC on the streets. Very light content, and it's ok for the begining. But then she goes fucking MC and stroking two cocks (with MC and flasher in the park) right away. The escalation of groping events is missing. Like after a light gropping there should next events with a medium gropping in other situations, then more and more harcdore gropping scenes with different other characters and decorations. Isn't it more logicaly natural? Because inserting more hardcore gropping events afther she was already sucking and fucking with strangers right after light gropping scenes - it do not fit to logic of her corruptioning progress.
3. There are dreams of characters in the game. It's ok to illustrate the desires and frights of characters' personalities even deeper, but since dreaming events are still eats the development time and requires rendering frames - am suggesting to make dreaming events less detailed, and by the powers which will be free because of that reduction - to invest more time and frames into detalisation of real happening events in the game with non-dreaming characters.
