There's some initial story there - mess around the Downtown on weekdays, you'll trigger an encounter

As for the scenes - unfortunately yes, that's the initial release - my main focus for v0.01 was to have the baseline mechanics ready.
More content coming in the subsequent updates, stay tuned!

Seriously though, the wide range in the description is more of a reminder for me, not to lose sight of what I'm trying to achieve here.
I really want to go in-depth with this project, just to see what Twine & SugarCube can handle - it'll take time, it'll take numerous updates, but I plan to deliver

I'm very happy with the mechanics I've implemented in v0.01, they scale very nicely. Now it's just a matter of creating content using those mechanics.

Allow me to comment on the points you've made (I don't think that I can do that in the Reviews section, so I'm doing it here):

Very sleek and clean looking, but there's essentially zero content.

• Yup, unfortunately that's the initial release for you. My main focus for v0.01 was to have the baseline mechanics ready - I'll get to populating the game with actual content in the subsequent updates.

I get that the Dev might just be excited to release something, but this is so empty, and the fact that they've got all the Patreons and what nots setup, gives me those "in it for a quick buck" vibes.

As for the "quick buck" part - I can copy-paste my FAQ point about this, that this project is and always will be free, and all the crowdfunding is purely optional, you owe me nothing, etc, etc - but I think I'll just put my money where my mouth is - and with me delivering updates, you'll decide for yourself if I'm just some fraud or not. I fully intend to prove you wrong on your hunch ​

No wives or harem here, that's for sure. Let's see how it looks after 50 updates.

• Holy smokes, I really want to see how this game looks after those 50 updates too - but man, this will take some time to develop

P.S. Should add a volume option to the settings. (didn't see it anywhere if there was one.)

• This is a pro tip, thanks a bunch - the volume slider will be a bit funky to implement since various browsers allow for slightly different levels of modifying the global sound volume on the fly - but I'll do my best.
