Is the gameplay really as bad as it looks or is it one of that cases in which the gameplay is legendary and awesome and good and only looks like shit because the devs didn't have enough resources and focused 100% on the gameplay? Just like some 8-bit/pixel art/low-poly modern indie games were made at first until some successes gave them enough money for proper art only for them to realize they really liked shitty looking things so they went full old school and stuffed even more old-looking filters on the games?
The art and alike didn't interest me, but the lack of ambient art itself is so weird that it made a full circle and got me intrigued about the gameplay.
