who knows maybe some of those plotholes would be filled in if the game cuntinued
every time the dev tried to close a plothole, he ripped at least three new ones open.

The writers for Lost did the same because they never had the aspiration to end the story coherently and they got much more money than dev ever got, so i don't think he would have started really fixing anything.

Like that other dude said, it's all about the vibes fuck a coherent story or verisimilitude.

He wrote stuff because it sounded cool, not because it made sense in the world he presented to us.

Yeah, he did try and rewrote some things...
That's where things like ''time in hell flows different'' (as he tried to explain why none of the family came for him in forever and it wasn't all that long) and such comes from.
Of course it absolutely didn't fit with the other story parts, like where Azel was a very old angel, doing her job for thousands of years, yet we see them both as kids when the MC got dropped in hell...

Other plot holes where even more glaring, like that none of the family knew he was tortured there...like, the MC did tell them that, all of them, multiple times...
MC suicidal because of the girl which died, only to say she didn't matter but what mattered was that he couldn't keep his promise, back to she mattered...
The mother horny for the MC, even before he was out of hell....so none of the MC learned her pheromone shit the dev used trying to explain why the MC was going along with all the shit of these absolutely unlikeable family members.
Or the oh so important balance, which the dev didn't even attempt try to explain how that made any sense, when the MC just slaughtered half of hell...etc

Then he uglified all the female models and was spending more time on anti piracy measures then developing the game.

Exactly this point alone has enough potential for pages of discussion of how it impacts all 3? realms (if dev doesn't cram more in down the line.)

The concept sounded good on paper, but has so many ramifications for every side, it's not even funny.

The way they prop it up as an all-important universal rule in the story drove me up the wall.

I would still say the game worth playing, and maybe it would be back someday.
doubt it. dev has a history of dropping it and going radio silent. as for the gameplay, dev changes everything with any update. literally compare the models from the start to later chapters and you'll see

given how anti-pirate focused he went and how utterly pointless that is I doubt it.... I mean if multi-billion dollar companies cant make effective anti-piracy measures what the hell chance you think some schmuck toying with renpy is going to do
