Sometimes I have the feeling that people will complain whatever you do. So let me be clear:
1️⃣ It is clearly stated in the description in red that the animations are AI-generated.
2️⃣ It is clearly stated at the start of the game as well.
3️⃣ You can turn them ON or OFF if you don’t like them and still enjoy the game.
4️⃣ I’m not going to spend days animating for a smaller side project when my main focus is my first, larger game.
5️⃣ You’re playing it for free here — you didn’t pay for the time and effort already invested. 1,400 renders and 9,000 lines of script don’t appear out of thin air, even if the animations aren’t made the way you want.
6️⃣ And finally: I do whatever I want. So stop whining and grow up: if you don’t like it, there are plenty of other better games out there.
Thanks for reading.
The tagging system is here so we can filter out what we don't want to see and filter in what we do want to see. I actually ignore anything with an AI tag. I did download this, and play it, because I do like the imagery. I DID turn off the animations, too.
The game was enjoyable, for what it is. I can't say it's a top class game, nor can I say it's a bad game. Exactly what I expected. Short, to the point, and multiple paths. And, I do like that style of VN. But, paid or not, it didn't have an AI tag like it should. I don't see how the previous comment makes sense (the comment that said it bypasses the AI CG tag). It's still AI. lol
But, having the option to turn it off, in my strong opinion, removes that from even being an issue.
So....to what you said....yes....some people whine just to entertain themselves with whining. lol
(A lot of people are discovering they are autistic, too, and that honestly is a very autistic trait. I see it often in my autistic friends. It's when people are so accustomed to what they are comfortable with that when something comes up out of sync with their own personal norm, they fight it, cause their brain can't handle that change, and some even see that as an attack on their own personal being. Sounds weird...but...very common.
