Given that blowjob/handjob only count for 1/2 in the isslut check, whoring at school can actually make you lose isslut progression rather simply not progressing it.

I fully agree. It's such a common thing in games like this, so I can only guess that the dev was actively trying to steer away from convention toward something more organic, but I think that's conventional for a reason. I started out turning on the Debug display (in the cheat menu) during certain events like exercising to see if they changed my stats, then eventually just got used to having it on all the time. It is a lot of writing that covers most of the screen, but I'm basically just looking at the MC the whole time anyway.I think it would also be a good idea if the overhead status bar included the stat number alongside the description.
I remember seeing a comment from the dev about this a while back (here and a followup a couple comments down). Basically the way it works is that when you do something that could increase a skill, a random number is generated from 1 to 100. If the number is less than the current stat you have in that skill, then your stat increases. If it's less than 5, then it decreases. I think the idea was to have the progression be something more like a parabolic curve, where gaining stats is really easy when your stats are low, but then gets gradually harder as they increase. The dev also said at the time that their intention was for stats to level off around 60-70 if you're grinding, but that in the future there may be options to hire a tutor (for intelligence) or trainer (for fitness) to make it easier to get those higher stats.And for some reason Fitness doesn't seem to always want to increase. Sometimes it's decreased despite having the MC exercise that same day. Dunno if these are bugs or not.
I believe that is currently in development. The dev reported a little while ago about a poll that they conducted on the Patreon for this game, and it seems that there will be three sizes of breasts in the future (not positive it will be in the next update, but I think that was the idea). In the mean time, I've found that it sometimes tricks my brain into thinking the entire breasts are larger if you make the nipples really big, but I get that large areolas aren't everyone's cup of tea.I'm surprised we cannot change the MC's breast size.

I see, I see. You were going for a more organic experience. I don't think you're in the wrong, it's just a hard sell. I think this is because your present direction leans towards a... "rewarding failure" approach. The Fixer is an Adult VN. The point of adult VNs is sex scenes. Additionally I wanted to discourage hardcore grinding out for max stats by making them more easy to gain, easy to lose type things. So if you hadn't been working out for a while your fitness would drop. I wanted to try and make it so players knew that unless they focused heavily on a stat, they would never get it near max.
Unfortunately other games has trained us and set an expectation of how these things should work and I was not following the rules. So a lot of players assume (and I guess rightly so) that max numbers are achievable and they set it as their target. Max stats always = best or so players think, when in fact that is not the case with the fixer. I get a lot of complaints from people who cheated their stats max and are upset that haven for example was sexless and easy to clear. Or that they never met Viktor because they always cheated mood up.
I think I need to accept that this is probably wrong and adjust the stat gains and degradation to the point where max stats are achievable. And let players chase their goal of 100 fitness/intelligence.
I've seen people make that point dozens of times and it just doesn't sit right with me. It assumes there is a "silent majority," to which is not inherently true.And do remember all the people who aren't saying anything because they're fine with it as it is. Beyond the bugs, at any rate.
